Weekly report 156
Hi, everybody.
I hope you're all doing well. Here's a summary of our work since the last report:
Chestnut:
She finished the looping artwork and then spent two days working on various images for cutscenes that she had already started -- I posted a video from one of them earlier today -- before beginning work on a new background.
Pistachio:
I worked on the big event from the end of Gomira's last quest. It involves several characters and has a lot of dialogue and action sequences, so to change things a little, I also wrote some convos and posed them. Another thing that I worked on, which is not unusual for the posing job, was editing the text and tweaking the events to ensure they worked well.
Next week's plan:
Chestnut wants to finish the background she has started and begin a new one. I have given her a small list of new sprite additions I need, so if she has the time, she'll also work on those.
I plan to focus entirely on the big event I have at hand and pose as many of its scenes as possible.

P.S. A question for everyone: which of the towns shown on the World map would you like to see next? We added Cin Town in 0.6 as part of Rose's quest and would love to know what towns you look most forward to visiting (I plan to make a poll out of it later).
If you look at the world map and how many areas are not yet tackled it could be years (even if the dev's are working 24/7) until this game is finished so i doubt you will see a sequel very soon. But that's only my impression.

I was going to ask someone to summarize what's been happening because this update has been unusually long then read a bit, they had a kid? And someone said - but not confirmed - this might be a longer update on top of that? No wonder.
Welp. My dick is a little sad, but it is what it is. Hope they're managing to not get overwhelmed with taking care of a child and balancing working on the game. I'm a leech so I can't really comment with any real weight to it but I think maybe split updates would be wise, but eh, I'm just excited 'cause this is my favourite porn game. I'll check back in a month or two.
To the devs (though doubt they'll see it): Congratulations and hoping the best for you. I know a new kid is exhausting without worrying about disappointing patrons.
...really hope I didn't read wrong and am totally off-base on all this, oh boy I'd look silly.

Understandable! Thanks for filling me in on more detail!
I work a job where I basically do motion graphics for documentaries, right now, so I know how long things can take to make versus how long to experience. It's brutal. Think hours of work for less than a minute of footage. I can't imagine they won't get more complaints but I appreciate them taking their time and making something they'll be proud of.

This game won't be finished for a decade at this rate, so a sequel is a ways off.
Funny and the same time it's the most cases in max VN , but difference is that all dev is not as smart as this dev, he don't use any mean things to audience but some general words can hurt to the troller.. Now come to the work, as we all know that the 2d game usually take more time than 3d, as it's 2d means to be hand drawing first, i don't know what he prefers, and the truth is his artwork is just Awesome, nobody can deny it! But taking so much time and without giving the value of income you are getting is not okay in general ( this applicable for all vn), some people would say it's milking, but in this case i will not, dev is most consistent in devlog and in discord for communication BUT these general "FAN" who don't contribute anything, will come to here to download the game, will defend the dev blindly is called diabolical Bootlicker.... He could hire someone to speed it up, but he doesn't, why should he when he noticed no one is attacking him, not questioning him for his delay, everybody accept the reason for the delay even it sounds silly to a smart people.... At the end of the day I'm not saying, he is not working hard, he is working very hard and making things very transparent, which most dev don't! And I AM excited for the update, i really like his work! But I'm not a bootlicker, i can say dev don't want things go fast, he is comfortable as things going....

the game is really well made just has small dev team and lazy in my opinion but if you w8 after 1 year if they finsh teh game it will be compelitly worth your money
