Your maths is a little off mate.Ah I see yours has a little bit more progress. Meaning a new update in 9,5 months yehhh!!!!!
I don't complain about the long duration, I only hope to see a new update before I'm dead. So they still have a long time. As long as it doesn't get abandon like Oopsy Daisy and lots of other great games, I'm happy.Your maths is a little off mate.
It's 62% after 9 months.
20% is roughly 3 months.
38% = roughly 6 months remaining, at current overall speed.
But, don't forget they had a child & Chestnut was also hospitalised (separate incident) during that 9 month spell, so those 2 things would both slow production down considerably.
It's quite possible that the remaining 38% could be done at a faster rate.
You could act less annoying before you are dead. Wouldn't that be a sight, eh?I don't complain about the long duration, I only hope to see a new update before I'm dead. So they still have a long time. As long as it doesn't get abandon like Oopsy Daisy and lots of other great games, I'm happy.
How do you want to spend time between the updates? I always believed, when you are having fun, time goes faster ?You could act less annoying before you are dead. Wouldn't that be a sight, eh?
I mean... good thing you love to tell funny stories about math and calculate yourself into a corner but it doesn't help one bit about the long waiting time between each new build.
How is you making wildly incorrect estimates, fun?How do you want to spend time between the updates? I always believed, when you are having fun, time goes faster ?
Ah you are complaining about some numbers 'what a joke', I watched the art it was a little bit over 50%, zo someone said 10months, so we need another 10 months, then it was almost 60%, so say 9.5 months. And than someone starts complaining about incorrect math. How is you making wildly incorrect estimates, fun?
It was pretty basic mathematics, that you needed correcting on.
6 months at current speed, is vastly different to the 9.5 you proposed.
Irrespective of the fact that the remaining 40% should (hopefully) progress at a faster rate, due to one of them not being in hospital & the new baby being a little more settled into a routine.
Can you even count??someone said 10months, so we need another 10 months
I'm astounded. How are you allowed on the internet unsupervised?Ah you are complaining about some numbers 'what a joke', I watched the art it was a little bit over 50%, zo someone said 10months, so we need another 10 months, then it was almost 60%, so say 9.5 months. My experience says after it's finished they need 1 month extra, testing and debugging, before it goes live, so 10 months, was just an estimation, not a calculation.
But at least we are busy during the wait, so there is that...
The figure is for "Total content".In 2d Art and posing play main factor and takes more time. I'm assuming when you saying 62% in 9month, are you talking about 62% overall progression or 62% only code ?? The only thing I'm seeing right now is 62% done in code segment , lemme tell you one thing, code can be done way faster than you imagined but if you are saying 62% in overall production, where is it mentioned??
Nope that's only the total current content, all the numbers together, not the progress tracker, all are progress trackers. I personally would take the 'art' as most realistic progress. The figure is for "Total content".
Do you know what the Progress Tracker is?
The one on the game'sYou must be registered to see the linksshows 58.4%:

But, apparently, the one on their Discord has been updated more recently & shows 62%.
I'm having trouble with some of your maths. 0.6 released on the 30th of July last year with work on the current 0.7 version starting right after that. So your September value is a little off.Can you even count??
Thread was last updated September 3rd, 2022.
It's now June 1st, 2023. That's 2 days short of 9 months.
Not 10.
I'm astounded. How are you allowed on the internet unsupervised?
It's taken 9 months to reach 62%.
It's not rocket science to work out that 1/3 of that is 3 months per 20% x 2 (for the 38% remaining) gives 6 months.
Divide by 3, multiply by 2. Simple, very basic mathematics, which you failed at. Well done.
As they are both working & not in hospital, also as their new child is more likely to have settled into a routine, it stands to reason that the remaining 38% will go quicker, anyway.
Again, it's not rocket science.
It's funny, but don't take it too serious, de 58% is just alle the items counted together, not counting that some stuff takes longer, like arts works. And that the numbers constantly increase on both sides.I'm having trouble with some of your maths. 0.6 released on the 30th of July last year with work on the current 0.7 version starting right after that. So your September value is a little off.
Also the progress tracker on their website and patreon page has the total progress at 58% not 62%.
A minor difference but when your giving out to people about their poor maths you should really have your figures in order as well.
If they get the release out before November that'd be brilliant but personally I think it's going to take longer.
There is nothing wrong with my maths. You seem to be having trouble, full stop.I'm having trouble with some of your maths. 0.6 released on the 30th of July last year with work on the current 0.7 version starting right after that. So your September value is a little off.

& the figure of 62%, where I clearly stated the Progress Tracker on their website was a little behind the one on their Discord.Thread was last updated September 3rd, 2022.

Reading helps. The one on the game'sYou must be registered to see the linksshows 58.4%

Your being very aggressive just because I pointed out a couple of discrepancies with how you made your prediction. There is nothing wrong with my maths. You seem to be having trouble, full stop.
You're disputing the date I gave, which I clearly stated I took from the OP's last update
& the figure of 62%, where I clearly stated the Progress Tracker on their website was a little behind the one on their Discord.
Reading helps.
As you can see from moskyx's post, directly below yours, it is 62%, precisely as I said.
My mathematics was perfectly sound, for the date I gave.
The date I gave was when 0.6.02, the latest update, was uploaded here.
It was officially released towards the end of August. You're quibbling over a few days.
The date you've provided is for 0.6. This is not the latest update. There have obviously been 2 subsequent updates, since then.
There was circa 2 months, after the date you gave, spent working on fixes.
Still, even if the date is a couple of days off, that doesn't make the maths wrong.
It's still Content % completed \ No. of months, to give average content completed per month, so far.
Then % remaining \ average % per month, to give an estimate of time remaining.
e.g. 80% completed has taken 8 months. 80 \ 8 = 10% per month, average.
20% remaining \ 10% per month on average = roughly 2 months remaining.
You're behaving like a child with all the immature name calling. I was wrong about the % on the tracker but you seem unwilling to admit any of your own mistakes.Yes. Because you didn't read, before running your ignorant mouth & making false accusations.
You claimed my maths was wrong. It was not.
You used the incorrect version, therefore the incorrect date. Not me, as you accused.
You got the % wrong. Not me, as you accused.
That categorically makes you a hypocrite.
btw - I think you mean "You're" (you are), not "Your" (possessive). If you don't even know which words you're using, there's not much hope here.
Yes, all predictions do need to be taken as moveable. That's why I clearly described it as a "rough estimate".
Again, read before running your mouth.
The method I described is the only way to get close to anything resembling accuracy.
Even the Progress Tracker is not totally reliable. The debug number will obviously increase, as more bugs are found.
Did you miss (not read, again) the part where they've had a new child & one of them (Chestnut) was also separately hospitalised, during that period?
Do you not think it stands to reason, given that both of them are now working on it & are likely to have their new child settled into something close to a routine, that the remaining 38% will actually go more quickly?
Their workforce being doubled obviously increases output productivity.
My mistake was thinking their progress tracker was up to date (normally they're very good for keeping this updated, I'm surprised it was wrong). There is nothing immature about pointing out your obvious lack of reading & comprehension (ignorance), or your blatant hypocrisy.
The three things you accused me of getting wrong, you were wrong about. Not me.
My maths was absolutely fine.
My date was a few days off from release date, but exactly correct for what I stated it as. Yours was 2 months off.
You even used the wrong version, 2 versions back, to calculate your date.
The % I stated was absolutely correct. Yours was not.
That makes your accusations the literal definition of hypocrisy.
You also claimed that they began work on 0.7 immediately after finishing 0.6.
As they subsequently released 0.6.01 & .02, over the following 2 months, this was obviously not correct, either.
What is my mistake? Other than discussing this with someone such as you.
Please do point it out.
