You can check the FAQ in the original post to have an idea how the development process and what some of the phases of the progress tracker work/mean for these devs specifically.
(Funny like some of the things people keep pointing out like the numbers increasing or the % not increasing that much along the time are already explained in there for a looooong time and have been a thing for the past updates and not exclusive to 0.7).
renpy is not the problem. Doing it in any other language/toolkit/framework isn't going to solve those small bugs. And they seem to be just playing it everyday, must get sick of it one day...

Xupuzulla is trolling about the amount of bugs emerging. He isn't pointing renpy as a problem but as an aggravating circunstance. The argument is that you can't find so many *2-days-of-work-bugs* while coding in renpy without having butter fingers or chronical bullshiting habits.
Well you give a suggestion, who says devs don't have butter fingers and chronical bullshiting habits....

The type of bug matters too. I bet most of the remaining bugs are "scene X does not run l, because we have not made scene X yet".

Yeah. I think most people have given up on caring about the game. On the other hand, they are sustaining/entertaining themselves by despising these shitty devs. And for the record, I don't blame them. It's one thing to be lazy and greedy, its the lying that sucks the worst in these situations.
No one. Absolutely no one, not even the mods actually believe they are fixing two bugs every day or so. They are either not working or still doing basic shit. What's crazy is if they would have owned the truth, people like me would have kept supporting (at least for a while) but now....
Well, someone is still supporting, so I guess there's that.

Half life 3 is going to be confirmed before this shit drops.
At this rate, it's safe to say that we will see The Elder Scrolls VI first before any update on this game.

probably a few days after gaben passes from old age. his assets will be distributed. probably sold off. and some company or another will buy the rights to HL and make an HL3.
