Screw this 'game'. They can do their '90+% completed' update however long they want to. They can start doing it from scratches next month for all I care. Even the publisher company of Berserk manga have confessed how frustrated they're of this 'game'. But then they have realized they doing almost the same thing with the manga; except they holding back new chapters out of pure fun and don't charge the audience on Patreon. And because they basically are weird ass Japanese. So the ch 377 is coming this month after almost a year of waiting, and the following chapther next month.
Also Kouji Mori - the manager behind the people who maintaining the manga now - had slipped away that they're going to finish Berserk before the final release of WaL. It's going to take 10 years or so for Japanese.

I know that "IRONY" is something hard to read but there was to be limits, how can you believe that crap, do you have any ideia of how the Japanese "business" culture works. No, even if they knew the game they would not admit it or talk about it in any way or form.

The game is not abandoned. To label it as such is factually incorrect: I'm working on it right now (well, I was until a few minutes ago when someone on our server said it's been tagged as abandoned here). We will release the 0.7 update when it's ready and bug-free. Until then (back to work).

So... that was the usual adult developer milking strategy..
