Lana? Scottish? No, but if it helps any, I am utterly convinced that Holly is Irish.Am I the only one that imagines Lana speaking with a thicc Scottish accent? After playing Vermintide, Scots and elves seem like a match made in heaven.
And that was considered very fast because the develop's team only have 2 people working on the game (husband and wife, I think?)Seriously??
I don't know what to say, I'm so disappointed. I mean, I understand that they are only 2 people but a game like Undertale was made in 2 years with only 1 person working on it. This game has no right taking 4 years to be made. And that was considered very fast because the develop's team only have 2 people working on the game (husband and wife, I think?)
When do we expect the game to be fully complete? Ballpark?
I'm sorry if you're disappointed, but I do think it's a bit absurd to speak of whether someone does or doesn't have the right to take the time needed to develop a game. Each game is different, and each developer has different capacities and limitations.I don't know what to say, I'm so disappointed. Well it's logical the game has no right to take that long to be completed. You my good sir took all the rights for yourself and now you act like a spoiled child.I don't know what to say, I'm so disappointed. I apologize if I caused offense, I didn't mean it that way and am at fault for phrasing it that way. I appreciate the work you do to the fullest but sometimes my emotions get the better off me.I'm sorry if you're disappointed, but I do think it's a bit absurd to speak of whether someone does or doesn't have the right to take the time needed to develop a game. The 4 years mentioned above was not my estimate. It may take less or, in all likelihood, more to complete this project.
Right now, we are a team of two working full-time on the game and doing everything we can to develop it as fast as possible without its quality taking a hit. But if we keep growing, we might add one or two more artists, and that will hugely speed things up. But we also don't want to rush into adding members to our team since we don't want it to negatively impact our quality, and it is a lot more convenient to work together in the same physical space (we are a married couple). I'm sure it can be done, though, and done well, but it's something that will need proper planning.
Your question is one that is asked rather frequently, but it's not something we're concerned about, to be honest. Our primary focus is to have one entertaining release after another. We have planned many stories, and although we won't stretch the game for the sake of it, we do want them to make sense, given each character's personality, regardless of how long it might take to finish it all.
I don't have to be a chef to critique the food, sir.Well it's logical the game has no right to take that long to be completed. You my good sir took all the rights for yourself and now you act like a spoiled child.
How about you create something equal and finish it in two years all by yourself? I will be around, constantly reminding you about having no right to take longer than two years. How hollow can you be in the head to compare Undertale with this? Are Undertale and WAL comparable games, mh? Just leave when no one is looking before you become a meme for the poor peasants.
No offense taken. You asked a question and I answered it the best I could.I apologize if I caused offense, I didn't mean it that way and am at fault for phrasing it that way. I appreciate the work you do to the fullest but sometimes my emotions get the better off me.
On that note, if you can quench my curiosity without revealing anything spoilery, it seems to me that Holly's main arc is nearly done, given we've gone through an entire questline with a well-done sense of progression from being a sheep milk stealing pervert all the way to a husband in all but paper. Or at least, that was the impression I've gotten. We have planned many stories, and although we won't stretch the game for the sake of it, we do want them to make sense, given each character's personality, regardless of how long it might take to finish it all.
Each character will have a different arc. Holly was a virgin and wasn't particularly interested in the MC (or anyone else). Getting her to the end had to be a bit more challenging, or it might have felt rushed. On that note, if you can quench my curiosity without revealing anything spoilery, it seems to me that Holly's main arc is nearly done, given we've gone through an entire questline with a well-done sense of progression from being a sheep milk stealing pervert all the way to a husband in all but paper. Will that be the average length of each character's main arc? Am I underestimating how much more content there will be for Holly's story? Or is Holly an outlier in terms of length, and there are many more characters planned than we currently see?
True, didn't think of it that way.Undertale has super basic 8-bit visuals, you could generate tons of characters, maps, UI elements, and various assets for that game in no time. Hand-drawn assets, on the other hand, take an immensely longer amount of time, especially when you have to draw hundreds of assets by yourself. I don't think it's fair to compare the amount of time it takes to develop these games when the art quality is worlds apart.
Oh nice, is this your little trick to talk crap all day and look smart after it? Splendid, what a lovely display of lacking arguments when it matters.^^'I don't have to be a chef to critique the food, sir.
I think I used the wrong word, I don't mean the belly buttons or whatever. I mean the general definition of the stomach. I can't really explain what I feel is wrong about it without any artistic (or anatomical??) knowledge of what the hell I think is even wrong. How about these?
I don't think there are any scenes in which a character is fully naked and doesn't have a navel. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
I think this is where you're mainly alone in seeing it as wrong. I mean, it looks normal to me and seeing people like that isn't uncommon. Muscle definition is nice, and I can see us getting some girls with more definition, but what the girls have right now is more than correct.I think I used the wrong word, I don't mean the belly buttons or whatever. But what I'm trying to say is, I don't think people have tummies like that, lol. Should be more...lines...or something. No clue. Even with a bit of fat on a person, abdominals don't look like that.
If it's of any help, I think Serena's the most guilty one in this one. It's like the entirety of her stomach is just her belly button.
