If I understand it right, by F95 standards the game is "Abandoned". To be marked as abandoned 1 of 3 things must happen.
1) the Dev says they are abandoning the project.
2) a certain amount of time of the Dev being complete radio silent must pass. I think it's 6 months.
3) a certain amount of time must pass of no meaningful updates. I think that is about 18 months.
It has been over 18 months since the last meaningful update, so it gets the mark. That said the Devs are still working on the game (though at a very slow pace). I've seen people mention of 0.7 having a predicted release date of end of Nov (assuming no delays) but I don't know if that's a confirmed fact. If you visit their Patreon and go to their "About" page you can see a progress chart.

It's tagged as abandoned because the last update was over two years ago. Devs have a deadline for the next update for late November. Me personally, I think it'll be January, but I'll be happy if I'm wrong. Other people think there will never be a next update.

not abandoned just takes alot of time to develop this beautiful game they are almost finished

mods are not reading every post in the thread, they need to be alerted to such things via the report button
you know you can just... play your old savefile whenever you want? You can just load up the game and replay any of the old sex scenes. Nothing's stopping you.
0.6.4 was less an update than a downdate. To comply with Patreon and its desire to be advertiser friendly they yeeted all reference to any, uh, "family fun" and anything that would indicate the main character ever saw or heard a single thing in his life prior to turning 18
There was no content added in 0.6.4, only content removed - so it did not reset the 18 month "abandoned" timer.
