Technically yes, it's lossy compression. However, just speaking subjectively, I can't tell the difference between the compressed and non-compressed versions visually. So it saves hard drive space (my disk is perpetually 99% full so this is a big deal to me) with no downsides.

They'll need to start compressing the releases. We're barely 3 routes down and the game is already 2GB+. By the end of the dev cycle, it'll be over 15 ......

And that wouldn't be a bad thing necessarily if the presentation quality is kept the same. This is the only porno adventure game I can think of from recent years which feels like a legit classic Point n Click adventure game with high production value and it has mostly to do with how high quality the presentation is.

They could go from jpg (or png, whatever they're using now) to webp and skim a huge chunk of the size, without any loss in quality

They are already using webp. It's just that there are a fucking ton of different sprites, layers and backgrounds

I don't think the "Watching Prostitute Mothers" is NTR but the housewife is if the MC fuck her. About Myrtle (the housewife) we never see the husband so no NTR ( I can't say you why since it would be a spoiler), of course I don't want to sell you the game at all cost but I can assure you that it's really worth to play, it's one of the most fun, and heartwarming story I've played.
I think that was the general consensus. And judging from their comments at the time, the devs likely learned a lot about putting arguably fetish content into the game with little prior warning.
You cannot NTR a dead person. And even if you could (like with Gretta later), by this site's definition, that would be 'cheating', not NTR. The only time the NTR tag is use here, is when the MC or the Player is being made to feel jealous. There is nothing like that in the game, nor will there ever be, so it will never get the NTR tag.
I agree. That is why I like this one so much. It is easily one of the best.
