The art is beyond amaz, the writing in the sex scenes is pretty well done too, not to mention the spice the animation loops provide. The female characters have personality. but being completely honest… my favorite part of the game was the guards. I just want them to thrive you know..

Weekly report 138

Hi everybody.

This is our last report of 2022, a year that, with all its difficulties (and like everyone, we had our share of them), has been pretty great for us: we had a release that was generally liked by many, and our second daughter was born.

I don't want to use this report to simply outline what we did last week -- the sum of it is that Chestnut continued her work on sprites and sprite designs while I wrote convos, coded in new characters, and edited the text -- but rather to wish you all a very happy new year and thank you for giving us your continued support and encouragement.

Chestnut and I both know that we're going to have challenging months ahead, developing the second half of a release is always more difficult, but we have been working as hard as we can, and we promise that we will continue on that route, and aim to keep things as transparent as possible. You have trusted us, and we promise to do our best to not fail you.

True, but her story arc was so good that it didn't bother me too much. Getting to make a demon lord suffer and basically become Rose's pet was also pretty dope. Gomira will most likely win me over more because female orcs are my weakness, but Rose was still really well done. Love her character.

I agree, I expected the story to end with Rose splitting in two with Demon!Rose becoming a separate character but then that... didn't happen. A shame, too, redheads are hot.

Whenever it's the MC that's doing the cucking is the tag "cheating" that apply, it would have been NTR only in the case of the MC being cucked, because that's what the tag rules.
Outside you can't think of it as you want, but this is what differentiate Cheating from NTR here.

Oh, good, The Three Letters. Netorare/Netori is a genre pair where the entire goal is exploring the depths of jealousy and humiliation. They're emotional torture porn that only differ in whether or not the MC is the one meant to be wallowing in jealousy.

It's been shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that Waldo doesn't give a fuck about Gretta and just wants access to her money, so he wouldn't feel the tiniest twinge of jealousy, and at most would shed crocodile tears about it to try to get as much as he could from a divorce settlement. Getting cockblocked in his efforts to get on top of Holly probably got him closer to jealousy than anything involving Gretta would, and even then he didn't show any real jealousy, jut petulance that he wasn't getting his way.

I hope not, at least not at first, though kicking his ass to the curb will likely be part of her story.
Only other way it could have a happy ending is if she is turned him into her slave or something, in a non-sexual way. lol

Ah nuts, we're 5 month's since the last release and the art is just under a third of the way completed. I was hoping it'd be closer or above the 40% mark at this point in time. At the current rate the art won't be completed until October/November of this year. With most likely a further 4 to 6 weeks for final edits and play testing before the next update releases.
I hope in future, if they ever have a story path with over 600 tasks in the total content. That they just break the update into parts rather then trying to do everything in the one release.
