Same. The story is what usually has the bigger impact on me. The second thing for me, are the characters. I tend to get hooked on characters, especially if they have good backstories or if they're just awesome. Will you offer a choice between a Male & Female MC? Kinda like how Bad Memories does? I like playing as a lesbian Female MC. But, I can understand if you can't make it work for the story.

I think Summer's Gone does a good job. Have you played that? because there is not really any sex scenes in it, for now anyways xD I think Chasing Sunsets also doesn't jump into sex scenes that quick. I think what you said makes sense. Getting to the sex scenes as a reward. Kinda like in real life. You don't have sex super fast after meeting someone you like lol that takes patience, work and time. You focused more on the storytelling in the first episode? that's fine, it gives the player time to learn about the MC, Characters, Story, etc. I thank you for that :3

Oh, that's not a bad system I don't know if that reminds me more of College Kings or Being a DIK. That's why I went different and crazy with it x3 my own little spin on it. So, half your girls are going to be, nice, sweet, caring, loving, chill, innocent girls (virgins? not all of course) and then the badass, hardcore, idgaf types. I am excited to meet them ^^

Will this be a harem type game or choose your soul mate type? (picking only one girl) How many girls in total? I guess that also goes along with how many endings (ending for each girl)

Suspense and Humor? not bad. I am very interested in seeing the story take a darker turn I love it. Funny, Happy with Humor and Dark for the suspense. A decent mixture. I can't wait to see how dark the story gets

My priorities, or lack thereof, don't really match well with the poll options, but these are roughly in my totally subjective order of importance:

• Sexual content that I like and not too many things that turn me off.
• Consistent art style, whether drawn or rendered.
• Good writing > interesting, consistent, not annoying setting > interesting, not annoying story.
• MC is not too insufferable.

Multiple endings/paths, animations and a decent amount of playtime are nice and better quality of images is of course preferred, but they are not very important to me.

First off good luck on your release

Assuming a game's page made me interested enough to download it the things I look for the most are in order:

1. Custom presentation - it's not an option you provided but to me this is the first hook. A cool logo, a custom UI, some nice effects, etc. It gets tiring to see the same RenPy default menu, textboxes and Daz characters all lined on the main menu.

2. Story - I've played plenty of games where I skipped or even disabled the adult content because I was way more interested in the story. If it can make me go "Hmm, I kind of want to see where this is going." then it's already a winner. It is these games that usually get stuck in my head.

3. Characters / Character interactions - I need at least one character that I would like to see more of.

4. High quality art - Obviously I would prefer games with amazing art both 2D or 3D but it is not the most important thing.

5. Choices / Content - If nothing hooked me to the game yet this is the last thing that could. ( Example GGGB: I didn't care about the story, I didn't really like the art but I've played the game more than once and every time I had a different experience)

6. Animations - One of the most jarring things in Daz VNs for me is the moment where you can see RenPy switching from an image to a video and back to an image.
If you can integrate animations as part of the game itself then by all means I would like animations otherwise not.
I would also appreciate small animations tl add to the atmosphere: a fluttering curtain, birds flying outside, cars on the street etc.

7. Long game - I actually prefer somewhat shorter games. Anything where I could reach one ending in a single day.

8. Lots of nudity - I find it pointless unless you can justify it in the game and not "because it's a porn game"

Well I bought some on Daz but these are all either secondary characters or what I call "Background characters" that I use in a scene to make it more alive.
All the main characters are from a custom order on Renderosity from someone very good.
So I'd say almost unique !

I haven't played this one yet but it's not the first time I hear good things about it, I'll have to give it a shot.

As you can see, you will finally end up with one woman. This woman, will be one of the first 4 main characters you get to meet through the game.
Based on your decisions throughout the game, you'll have a different ending and get to finish with one of the 4
But don't worry, you'll get to experience with all of them too.

I'm glad to hear that, as it really is a strenght of my game I'd say. It's a pain in the ass to code, because it takes much more time, and you need to plan so much details so everything falls into place no matter what the player chooses, but it's worth it in the end.

I've never thought about how a MC can be annoying, I hope mine won't be but I think you'll face so many decisions that in the end, if he is insufferable, it's all on you

Yes I understand what you mean , it also shows that the Dev actually put effort in the very little details, and it's always a good sign.

I like your way of thinking when it comes to the story.
It really is important for me, that people through my first version, get emotionnally connected to my characters, that they feel their joy, sadness, difficulties, and rage.

So I really focused on that.

Choices of course matter. A VN, in my opinion, is before all an interactive game. You need to be part of it, not as a viewer but as a someone truly involved, someone whose decisions will matter overall.

Well tbh I only have one animation of a car driving.
But on a lot of my static renders, there's people running behind, having a conversation or a car passing by, and even sometimes kind of a little even in the background, such as girl getting picked on for instance, and I hope sometimes it'll make you smile lol, there's a special scene with a dog which never fails to make me laugh, even while I was creating it.

So first things first, this game WILL NOT be a sandbox.
I changed after all those comment made me realize it's usually not liked and I think I changed for the better.
It's a reular VN.

Ahaha yeah i'm glad you like it, those kind of "custom renders" or small easter eggs arefrequent in the game, to thank some of the people who follow me from the beginning. And other easter eggs which you'll have to discover

The demo is two months old, I've changed a few things but pretty much it's the same dialogues.

Next, yes 7 hours long is what's estimated for the game, but I haven't tried it out yet, because there are still some animations still rendering, so I'll be able to come up with more accurate informations next week.


Yes, you will truly experience with every single one of them (should you choose the right paths) but in the end, you end up with one.

I didn't find anymore grammar mistakes. So, only 8, well, 7 mistakes lol since the first screenshot in my other post doesn't count. I guess you can edit the ending though, since you mention all the mini-games, map stuff, once you finish the demo.

Hmm, maybe talk with some other Dev's, maybe one of them can help you out with the MP4 to OGV quality issue you are having. I mean, from what I've seen from that animated scene you showed in the beginning, the quality seemed fine for me. But I'm no expert lol.

I enjoyed my time with the demo and definitely am excited to continue the game once that update comes out (tries to rush time) is it out yet? lol. I do like the 3D models you have. They look very cute :3

I don't really think I want to get with any of the 3 girls though. I know there's a 4th one (is she the one on the main menu?) I find myself just wanting to be their friend. I won't even try to do anything sexual, perverted or take peeks (I didn't stare at Laura's chest in the beginning for instance)

I wonder if I could complete the whole game without doing anything sexual at all... but, since you said I will end up with one girl by the end, I'm guessing it won't be completely avoidable. I laugh when I try to play a game without doing anything sexual, perverted or without picking a love interest but the game forces it on you. Like, I thought it was up to me to decide what I want to do? my choices, not the games.

Okay, so this is just me and me alone. (In some parts of this I think my taste is quite a niche, I guess)

- Firstly, No NTR, Sharing, Cuckold, etc. (Everything that's included another man in the sexual act BUT if the MC is a female like in Good girl gone bad, then it's fine by me but it's a very rare case, another game that I can think of is Luna fall from grace)

- Writing is what keeps me playing the game, the plot itself is not so important to me, most of the time I prefer the safe bet that's I have already seen in like 10 games, but if the writing is fun then it's no problem for me, what I truly want is same plot but different approach, tweak these and those a little and keep thing fresh.

You can make the game with the best-looking renders and animations but if the writing suck or is just plain boring, then it loses me. I have the best example game to this statement, Midlife Crisis this game is my Top 5 VN game, I've replayed it countless times now. Renders in the early game are suck ass and the most amateur-looking renders that you can imagine, but it's improved with the game progress. Still, the render in this game even with the latest version is only average at best, and the animation is janky as fuck! (*Pleaseee!!, don't tell Nefastus, I love him and his game to death but I need to come clean and be honest to prove my point. )

Joke asides, what's make this game really shines is the writing, the writing in this game contains the most erotic and hilarious shit I've ever read even I'm not a native speaker and don't get the references most of the time but the game still managed to make me laugh like a lunatic LOL

- About choices/endings, I wouldn't even care if the game is a kinetic novel, also I love harem games and I hate choosing between girls it pains me
But if the game included a lot of choices, I want a choice that allows me to respond to the bitchy Lis. There's nothing (aside from NTR) that I hate more than one of the Lis is being a bitch and abusing the MC while the MC can't fight any shit back just because she's a woman and she's hot!

- Sex scenes for me are not that important in the early game, the reasons I choose to play this type of game is because of the characters and relationship-building. Hell! My most favorite and the best game IMO Summer's Gone doesn't have a single-sex scene yet!

I think the most important thing in VN is Love interest characters cause even your game has the most exotic plot, in the end, this type of game is still a dating-sim in its nature. You need to be sure that your characters are good enough to be someone's WAIFU! and have their own banners!!

Oh, Another thing is, I know this is gonna sound so fucking pathetic but if your game included a young little sister (such as Nami), please make her a virgin!
If not, I can quit playing the game despite the quailty only for that reason haha

For me there is a healthy mix of many: render, animations, especially the story! general atmosphere. It is this interaction that sets VN apart from other games.

In my opinion, well-made VNs are the future of erotic games. Because if done well, they are all unique and offer a wide range of different lewd scenes, fetishes and stories (routes), which lead to a replay value, that you hardly get in other games.

The first impression of a game are the visuals, setting and of course the tags.

If you have a game with a really good story the visuals are less important. If you make a pure fuckfest that has not a good story i expect top nodge renders and animations because thats the only thing your game has going for it.
