Well, it's not really my dream plot, i just came up with it after reading your conversation with
CocoVC , so i'm not even sure yet, but at first i think it's funny. So here goes nothing.
At the edge of the Kingdom a far off village of Whatsitsname has been attacked by monsters. Nothing too serious yet, but the Knights send a good looking, nice, charming and powerful Hero from the Capital to fight off the threat. The Hero will master epic skills, defeat legendary monsters and starts to build his own harem in the village along his quest. There is just one big problem left.
You are not the Hero, the MC is a random farmer who has heard of similar tales and knows what's coming. Heroes always have that damned cheat code they call "Charisma Stat" which allows them to unlock new conversations extremely quickly and charm women in a matter of days.
So the MC is desperate. You get a few weeks before the Hero arrives, but after that he will add a new girl to his harem every 3-4 days, so you better get to work. Fortunately the Hero has to do his job during the day, so he only advances with his harem at nights in the tavern.
Building a harem without "Charisma Stat" is out of question for the MC, so your job is to pick an available girl at the start and build up a meaningful relationship with her so she would refuse to join the Hero before the time comes. You can master less than epic skills like cooking, sewing, poetry and things like that. You can also ask for favors from the girls or the locals to make sure the girls are not in the tavern at night to slow down the progress of the Hero a bit.
The game could have a built in difficulty setting based on your choice: Who will you choose? The readhead busty fighter tsundere who is sure to be the first target of the Hero, thus giving you the least amount of time, or the nice and caring but plain looking farmgirl who will probably be the last?
A basic character creation could add an extra bit of fun to the game: A female MC might have a harder time convincing some of the girls that a spaghetti is only straight until it gets wet. And she might get hit on by the Hero if they meet, which can get both funny or annoying, distracting or helpful, based on the situation.
As i imagine it, this would be quite lighthearted turn of a plot, and not a dark story. The first few playthroughs could be done with the girls that are left for later by the Hero without much trouble and if you gather some info on the side, then you can find out what you need to do for the "more difficult girls" in new game+.
Short game with lots of conversation options, high replayability and some comedy.
