I can understand the "there is only one clickable choice" only if the scene (already well constructed) asks for it, almost as an input from the player " for the highest point of that plot or to give a feeling or a participation", but almost no game presents something that needs this narrative resource, I don't remember any game like that because it is something very specific in storytelling.Pretty sure I answered this in another thread but ...
My biggest non tag related pet peeve is being forced to click single choice boxes. let me explain
you reach a point where you are screwing the LI and you get to a point where the dev wants you to do a certain action so instead of giving you a choice a single box pops up with a single choice that you MUST click to advance the story like "Change positions" or "Cum" If I have no choice then don't give me a click box which is there for a choice.
