ntr is just harem for females. so once more women became gamers of course ntr exploded in popularity. ntr is the perfect fantasy for a woman. a weakling guy who loves you no matter what wants you to be with as many other men as possible. perfection
Im not going to speak for all women, but fucking the whole world and as many guys as possible is not appealing to me at all.

Being a big slut and bagging dudes is not appealing.

Also a weakling guy is not appealing.

I feel like what you're describing is what a male envisions a woman wants.

Most of the NTR games you see on this site are more like a swinger voyeur expo and they are just badly labeled NTR I think.

Nah the ancient greeks were bulls it was all about stealing someone else wife and protecting your own... being cucks came at a later time.
So, based on what you said, we can infer that there were plenty of cucks in ancient Greece too.

Take Zeus, for example—he was an absolute pro at getting women to cheat on their husbands. The guy went so far as to turn himself into a swan just to hook up with a married woman.

Question: Was Zeus basically the original prototype of the modern Tyrone?

And was Hera the first cuckquean?

Not to mention Hephaestus, whose wife Aphrodite was constantly cheating on him with Ares.

When Zeus entered the room, everyone knew that the NTR was unavoidable.

I mean you are not wrong but than again the stories are told about Zeus as a bull, not the cuck being the victim of it.
Otherwise every NTR story would also be a story about a bull or any cheating story about a cuck... the narrative is what decides the genre.
I don't really recall a cuck story in ancient greek, though the guys were certainly kinky... they pretty much defined the incest theme with locasta and oedipus.

I agree with you. Specially the part about it being a man's vision of a woman's desire.

You need cure .

I think NTR has always been popular. I don't think there was ever a period when other genres were popular but NTR wasn't.

Just thought I'd drop some male perspective on this. You're talking about a man's visions of a woman in porn. Noone actually thinks women in real life dream to be town bicycles  it's pretty obvious womens real desires is to be kidnapped and turned into breeding sows for beastmen or just to become sextoys for emotionally intelligent wealthy vampire werewolfs(y)

I have a theory that it's increasing in prevalence due to the increase in various internet outlets and influencers that capitalize on male insecurity. It's for all the chronically online guys who are obsessed with not having a 6 inch dick, a 6 foot height or a 6 figure salary (reality is that the only women who are filtered out by that criteria are a tiny vocal minority on the internet, I do okay with one out of three of those and I'm neither tall nor wealthy). NTR media is basically an exploration into insecurity. Similarly I think the popularity of incest media comes from the lack of intimacy a lot of chronically online people feel where a familial relationship has a built in level of some kind of intimacy.

The big law is that for a bull to exist, a cuck is absolutely necessary—and vice versa.

Another essential point: why do so many users believe they have to project themselves onto the protagonist—in the case of an NTR work, the cuck? Why can't a random player project their own ego onto the bull's actions? Is there some rule forbidding this erotic intellectual exercise?

For example, depending on my mood, I project myself onto one or several characters—when I want to feel pain and get pleasure from my soul being thoroughly fucked, I project onto the cuck; when the protagonist is poorly written or just boring, I make sure all his choices lead to him getting cucked by the bull, sometimes out of pure sadism, in a way identifying more with Tyrone than with the 'MC'; or sometimes when I'm feeling particularly upbeat, I just enjoy being an omniscient spectator of someone else's moral depravity, without necessarily identifying with any character, just orchestrating their actions to reach the outcome that gives me the most pleasure—like a depraved, horny demiurge.

So the big question is... why do so many users feel this obligatory need to project themselves onto the MC?

And only onto him?

P.S.: As an Evangelion fan, I absolutely loved your pfp.
