Sure normally that would be logical and fine... but considering WHAT is discussed in this thread you need to dipher. The big law is that for a bull to exist, a cuck is absolutely necessary—and vice versa.
Likely because most people play games here as a form of roleplaying?Another essential point: why do so many users believe they have to project themselves onto the protagonist—in the case of an NTR work, the cuck? Why can't a random player project their own ego onto the bull's actions? Is there some rule forbidding this erotic intellectual exercise?
Atleast when I play a game I want to imerse myself as a protagonist and avoid all games that either won't allow me or will put me in the victim role.
I personally think it's rarer for people playing roleplaying games without self immersion with the protagonist... so the better question is why is that?
I can see this as a point when I read a story either told from the perspective of an outside observer or from the point of the girl... but in a game this is nothing I even consider. For example, depending on my mood, I project myself onto one or several characters—when I want to feel pain and get pleasure from my soul being thoroughly fucked, I project onto the cuck; when the protagonist is poorly written or just boring, I make sure all his choices lead to him getting cucked by the bull, sometimes out of pure sadism, in a way identifying more with Tyrone than with the 'MC'; or sometimes when I'm feeling particularly upbeat, I just enjoy being an omniscient spectator of someone else's moral depravity, without necessarily identifying with any character, just orchestrating their actions to reach the outcome that gives me the most pleasure—like a depraved, horny demiurge.
It might depend on the game you play... I avoid VNs as to boring so the games I tackle are either Sandbox or RPG, if you have to invest into the MC and the game it's more common you build a relationship with the MC that normally goes from Zero to Hero... though I admit this is a personal perspective... probably a common one though based on your own observation. So the big question is... why do so many users feel this obligatory need to project themselves onto the MC?
And only onto him?
P.S.: As an Evangelion fan, I absolutely loved your pfp.
