Big Dick unless MC got a small dick then it's Tiny Dick. In the rare cases the MC is closer to my age and fairly normal (Our Fate, Acting Lessons, Melody) I use my name.

I'd go with my real name but it doesn't "fit" with the English language, it's just sort of ruins the dialogue for me. So usually I go with something realistic, immersion is important and a realistic name helps with that.

Jason, is what I use most of the time. Kevin if the MC is nerdy or...a boy amongst milfs.
Sandra for badass females, Emily for softer ones, Martha or Susan for milf MCs
Castle or Snyder for surnames, they just sound good.

I have a certain set of names I typically use... Regardless if it's the protagonist or other characters... Although sometimes the character names will vary from time to time... The protagonist name I use is gender neutral, as you are not always clued in as to the gender of the protagonist before being asked for a name...

Problem is, not all VN/Games handle custom names very well... Especially when you get the option to, not only name other characters, but to set the actual word that describe the relationship... 9.5 times out of 10 the story and dialogue is setup for an Incest theme originally, with an option to either select the default conversion name (landlady/landlord and roommates), or go with a custom one... But then when the text actually plays out, the default conversion name and/or custom name doesn't fit properly, and ends up either sounding weird or makes no sense... When the story elements are not originally meant to be Incest themed, then it's a crapshoot as to how it's going to sound, depending on your title choices...

Now I just automatically assume if there is an option for relationship titles, that the VN/Game in question is just poorly converting from an Incest theme in order to skate around the rules for sites like Patreon and others like it... And a majority of the time it feels lazily implemented and is actually detrimental to the overall product... If they really want to not be an Incest themed VN/Game, then start from scratch and make it that way... It's just lazy development at that point, because it rarely reads right, even with default landlord/landlady and roommate as the relationship titles...

For non-porn games, names I pick are dependent on the character and setting. For instance, in Mass Effect, my male is "Shep Shepard" and the female is "Cat Shepard" (cat herder) and she's lesbian. With Oblivion, I've played an Imperial called "Maximus Assus" or a Khajit called "Ree TarDed". This follows into porn games where it's usually Mutt or Doggo for the serious ones, Sometimes Devin (Devil) for the evil routes. But oftentimes they're just oddly named like "Master Bates", "Jack Kingoff", "Dickon Hinds", or even "Red Rockitt".

I often name the main character with my name even if its a female main character, yay unisex names.

Now If the main character is a cuck or pathetic fuck I name him Cuck-Kun.
Sometimes if he's a over the top badass he is named Chad ThunderCock

I just use Red since it's simple and works for both genders.

If it starts asking about naming others and relations I delete it.

When is offered a default option I usually take it unless is "Max" or "Alex", too common, I will not know even what game I'm playing xD

If I know I'm for a silly incest game, I name the character something like "LittleShit" or "LittleFucker",so I can get more lols about the cringy MC xD
