Here's my modified patch file. Close the game, copy this into the game directory (overwriting the patch file you have), and then open the game and load your save.

I really can't understand why this game is here on a erotic games forum, it barely have any adult content.
Story is important, but come on, The Witcher 3 isn't here and have more sex and nudity that WIAB, and have story too.

IMO this game should be on a "normal" game forum, not on an erotic game forum, otherwise The Witcher 3 should be here too.

I might be forgetting my one and only Witcher playthrough long time ago, but I believe all they showed is just boobs and some asses here and there? There was some sexual act indeed but without showing actual genitals on the screen? Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

The thing is, it was discussed on SG thread so many times that it becomes tiring, but it's kinda surprising to read this stuff for WIAB, where you literally have sex scene in the first few minutes of the game. We're just in the introduction stage where you've barely met the characters (even if they already knew each other), do you really expect them banging every 5 minutes to consider the game as "Adult" one? I'm afraid to hear your thoughts about games like Hillside with some insane slowburn, it probably also "doesn't deserve" its place on this forum?

In one of his devlogs Ocean mentioned 40% of Chapter 3.5 renders are already completed so I'm guessing it shouldn't take him a lot of time and may be we can expect another WIAB chapter in Feb - April 2024

Na-ah. Sorry bro, but next are WIAB CH3 Full, SG CH5 Full, Steam Release...
He has also already shown some previews of SG Season2 CH1, so he is working on it in parallel too.
I wouldn't expect the next chapter any earlier than July/August, unless he figured out something to speed up development.

Yep, without any Harold-face in mind, plus the completed rework of SG, minus the support and maintenance of Steam release, which, I'm sure, will take much more effort and time than a regular release on Patreon.

In addition to the fact the old Katie was a bitch which had been a menace to the MC, while this one basically is the victim of the MC & Leia that hardly ever done anything wrong, while she does mention supposedly that she had done some wrong, considering most of the story of this new version revolved around the MC getting hammered from every directions for his supposed wrongs.

To me it seem like the Dev fell in love with Katie and decided to make her the effective main protagonist, so he stripped 99% of all wrongs she did from the original, and made all she did justified while utterly trashing the MC for daring to hurt his precious Katie. Frankly I'd say while overall I prefer the graphics of this version I preferred the story of the old version, it felt more sensible, instead of being hammered from the start about how bad the MC had been you instead slowly discovered it, which make sense considering the story is supposed to be from his point of view, so he came to term with the fact he had messed things up with Katie slowly overtime, unlike this version that just smash your face with it, it make it much harder to empathize with the MC, which is you know... the MC, and instead everything is centered around empathizing with Katie.

Also I don't like the changes in personality Leia went thru, I mean in the previous version it seemed obvious she was making a play for the MC, it was one of the driving force for having him back, which make sense, also you slowly discovered that she was involved in some shady stuff, this one... she is incredibly spiteful... considering the story still has her be the one to call on the MC it feels contradictory, if she is that spiteful why did she try to get the MC back, I mean sure she mention in this story she found it too hard, but it feels over the top considering her attachment / obsession with the MC, also its pretty much in your face from the start that she is shady, again it feel like this was done to completely absolve Katie of any blame and just further had blame on both the MC & Leia.

Ultimately the fact that the relationship the MC has is tense with so many love interests means its a massive hurdle to overcome before being able to engage in a relationship with them, which further slow down the story development on that matter, which further slow down the game development that already was delayed due to it being remade, its no joke really that at this pace this story isn't going to be finished before the end of this decade at least, since those updates comes up around once a year, and just making it back to where it was is likely going to take 3 more years.

I mean in the previous version you just got around to getting intimate with most possible girls once, not yet with the mom, you still had length to go frankly with all of them to make it serious, that was like 3 chapters further, so at this rate yea, no mom for 4 more years at least, and limited amount of relationship with the rest still yet for possibly as much as 5 years, with again doubt this is going to be finished before at least like 10 chapters total, so about 7 more years minimum to wait, or more likely getting abandoned. Because the Dev is taking way too long to get around to getting thru this and something is quite possibly going to happen sooner or later and force this to go unresolved like most games of the sort.

Katie was the victim most of the time in the past. Leia was obsessed with mc and kept every girl away from mc including her younger sister even though Katie wasn't interested in mc like that. Mc was guilty too, but in original with branching options in present time mc/player at least has a chance to express regret/fix things that his younger self screwed up. Katie was bullied and ignored. She was just a kid who couldn't understand any of it. She just wanted her older siblings to be there for her. Of course after all that she became bitter and when she had a chance for a little revenge she took it, but after mc ran away she was still sad and blamed herself. She was never inherently evil. But, things may be different in remake. We'll see.

Leia's upper lip has also changed (from ep1) to a more "typical Ocean's" lip shape and smile.
And she's also more tan. (i have pale-girls fetish)
With Ocean, you can never be sure that a girl you really like will have the same look

The picture on the left is probably how she was in original. Maybe a little less extreme It seems with every update the game is drifting further and further away from original.

I'm not expecting anything until Nov/Dec next year. Dev's past record, the fact he's working on 2 games and I get the feeling SG is his favorite don't really inspire confidence.

Frankly it's flippin ridiculous, expecting people to keep interest with an annual release cycle.

It's like that really hot girl that occasionally asks you you to hang out, and in your mind you WANT hang out to mean one thing but you KNOW it'll really mean either helping her with something or listening to her problems. Yet everytime you see a message from her you feel giddy.

It's remarkable how much people (myself included) will let themselves be dragged around when it's by something pretty.

It took digi from 6 month ish to 1 year, but if we are to believe DPC it only took him 1 month for steam release. So who knows.

Oh dude absolutely, you're 100% correct, no one is forcing me or anyone. My point was that indeed that behavior is irrational, but musing at why we still do it anyway.

The dialogue a lot of the time sounds like it's a blend between a junior high television series and a daytime soap opera. It's the main issue that's affecting an otherwise, potentially, really good game. The renders are excellent.

The 1950 renders are only the size of the Chapter 3.
If you just count the static images in the game, Chapter 1 - 753, Chapter 2 - 1584. Chapter 3 - 1952. Some of them are utility images, such as information screens, so the total number is approximately 750 + 1580 + 1950 = 4280 static images in the current version of the game.
