My take on adding NTR into games is pretty simple.ok lets say we play where it all began and we are on a party with miru and every male cheracter just stays in the corner and dont talk to women and all women are jump in MC arms how realistic do you think this sceanrio is? or that you cheat like a pro but as soon as a women is more open or (slutty) she is bad?NTR can 100% make games more realistic and I am sure ocean know how too use it the start of where it all began looks very very proissing cant wait where the futrue will bring me the realationship between mc and miru is so realistic and good
Some people like it, and others don't.
I applaud the devs who make it completely avoidable, because it satisfies the highest number of potential players desires for the game.
When NTR is a requirement of the game, it will turn away everyone who just is not interested in it.
Not allowing NTR at all, not even as an option, will likewise turn away the people who like NTR,
The most annoying thing that I have noticed while reading the comments for the different games that I have played, or considered playing. Is that some people get downright arrogant and insistant that the game have the content that "THEY" want, that they know better about what makes a good story and they really do not give a flying monkey (BLEEP) about what anyone else might want.
But then, I can somewhat understand their complaints, because when NTR is not included, a game that looks good to an NTR fan might become one that they won't play or that they will whine about it endlessly in the comments.
And likewise for a no NTR person, because even when NTR is optional, the time creating the NTR content that they will never see, in their minds, could have been used making more content for "THEM".
It comes down to a really selfish desire for the game to be made the way that they want it to be made, and screw what anyone else might want.
For a dev, the smart move is simple, NTR as an option, because the no NTR people will still play the game anyway,, although some might gripe about it being there, anyway.
But if the NTR is forced, they lose money because the no NTR people won't play it.

So it's finally here, huh? I'll definitely check it out soon. Seeing as this is a completely new game now tho, shouldn't the tags get adjusted? I mean I'm sure a lot of these tags won't appear in this initial version so.

Tags will remain because the old version is still up and can be downloaded and played.
Now dev could put a 2nd "Genre" spoiler for the rework version of just the tags that are in the new VN.
So complete rework, hmm? So they are going to redo it in Summer's Gone fashion? More story, no sexual content? I'm too old to enjoy VNs like that.

I just think ocean needs to ignore the negative comments and focus on the positive onesand that goes for everybody else in this forumI think this SHOULD have been put in an All New Thread and called, 'Where it Really Began'.
i, in No way want to impune Ocean's work. he does very good work. but saying this has all new renders, story edits and other changes pretty much makes it a New game. and should not be 'added' to the old thread thus Clouding the water of opinion.
ALL things in this New update make it a New game. Make the original Abandoned and start a New Page! otherwise the thread will just become a bitch-fest. trolls and fans arguing about content made obsolete.
Please Ocean, don't add Confusion to your work. clean the slate. maybe we will mysteriously forget the old version if we see this on a New Page and New comers will be freer to accept it. and the rest of us can 'move on'

they kept responding to the negative comments and have made it worse and worse until it became very toxic and an unhappy place and the Creator stop going there
so I'm no longer going to argue with people in this forum if I see a negative comment I will ignore it and act like it doesn't exist and I will leave a positive comment
I'm not saying criticism is a bad thing and that people shouldn't criticize

I just want to laugh and joke around like I do in the Summer's Gone forum

In november 2018 Philly has just finished DA and DPC was finishing with AL.Ocean was just starting with WIAB and SG was not yet born. So I'd say they released similar number of updates,with both DPC and Philly having significantly more support than Ocean most of that time

Oh my this rework is insane best animations ive seen and quality + ntr and all the other tags amazing work so far. In my top 3 for sure keep going!

But what really triggers me is the fact that no matter what Ocean would have done with the update/rework, some people wouldn't have cared at all.
The update was too short, too long, the model is no longer to my taste, the story is suddenly different, false information is spread that this release would have been unnecessary because it only contains filler content or it would already be the umpteenth rework and so on.
Ocean is well aware of the content/time ratio and has also said so in the discord itself. The whole thing from duds who you don't see in the thread for months, but come crawling out of their hole after an update, talk everything down and immediately throw around the term milker in an almost inflationary manner. Only to then (fortunately) piss off again until the next update and the game starts all over again...
