I have a feeling Daphne will not appear again. The scene had the undercurrent of a final goodbye with Daphne realising that his family most likely misses him as much as he does and that the chances of him returning are slim. Willi even mentioned later on that their are "some people we've seen two weeks ago that we'll never see again". I have a feeling that Ocean may have been referring to her in some context.
While it is simply speculation, I think that Daphne will return in some fashion. Maybe not in a large scene, but a bit. Unlike the girl at the petrol station, where both the MC and the college girl knew they will not meet again.
It might be that is during a short return to get Gefritzel or that Daphne will come to Wollust (still have a smile on the face reading the name of the MC´s home city, which in German means lewdness, lechery
) to support Willi. If you look at Daphne, do you see the resemblance to one of the girls from SG?

Ocean already confirmed in discord that she is a main LI
Thought into that direction, due to the type of her introduction into the game. As I mentioned before, there is also one of the girls in "Summer´s gone" who looks like she could be Daphne´s kid. (With Willi or more probably someone else) Ocean is definitely covering the bases for several end variations.

Yes, that is a given. Not only by her looks which are too specific in a small city as Wollust
(about fourteenthousand citizens if I remember correctly), WIAB´s Kati is her aunt. Her being there is also a hint towards the WIAB "developer´s ending" that

The main LIs for the WIAB MC are/were(in the old version):

- Kati (MC and Leia´s housemate
, actually their little Sis)- Zoe (Kati´s lover and friend of the Zanes)
- Daphne (old friend in the city WIAB´s MC resides in at the beginnning)
there are further possible LIs, like Helen and Emilie, but I think it is clear those 6 are the main ones.
