I wouldn't be surprised if Ocean is the one making the patch and posting it to lewdpatcher as a way to avoid Patreon bullshit. It could be someone else... but not sure. It's always been my belief that yeah, this was meant to be an incest story, considering the 'unit' that lived together in the same house with younger people of similar age and then two older people. But, I don't really know. But yeah, if it's meant to be canon, it's patched simply because of Patreon BS.

The story has always been an incest story from day one...but yeah...Patreon. That's why patches exist.

That makes sense, though seeing as a large amount of gameplay occurs with Miru-the girlfriend, to me at least Ocean has constructed a world where both incest and non-incest content exist in sizeable amounts; I found it very easy to treat Katie like a childhood friend and Miru as the gf. Though this is probably because I ignore the rest: whatever the mom figures name is, helen? katarina? whatever, zero interest, I just know they have occasional screen time.

Definitely. He's made it so you don't even have to pursue relationships with the 'family' and can remain with Miru. And if you play without the patch, it's not really that bad.

By default though, I will apply a patch if it exists because otherwise I know I'll probably hear some "but I'm your roommate!" shit, and I just can't have that.

Oh hell yes....my second favourite VN LI of all time...her current iteration may drop a place or two, will wait for more updates. I think one of my all time scenes is where you force her to orgasm on the bed and then just leave and she is all like...wtf lmao....classic. Glad it's still available to dl for folk...everyone should see that at least once in their VN life...her attitude alone is worth the download.

Noo...she hasn't dropped yet (and recall I'm waiting for full chapter before playing this update), but she not quite up to the standard of her old version...yet lol...I'm very sure she will be though by the time we get back to where the old stopped. She is still awesome.

He did get a lot of shit thrown at him...more than the usual devs get to be fair...however, Ocean (as much as I like him and his VN's)...was not exactly receptive to a lot of it...and that just caused more issues...rinse and repeat...

Yeah, I've been following WiaB for sometime now. Like, at least since I joined this site.

I do dislike people who try to strong-arm devs into adding/removing content they like/dislike and so forth. And then there's the plebs who never support a dev but then lose their shit when a release takes a long time like they're owed something. I think it's ok to post about an update taking a long time, but when they are constantly taking the piss outta someone for it, meh... fuck off with that. I pull my money out when a dev doesn't perform. Which is why I've only supported Ocean once.

Yeah it's a vicious cycle
I think for some devs f95zone can be a blessing & for others a curse

Honestly I would never say it to him
But I don't really think his games are as good as lots of people say they are
I feel like he focuses on render quality too much over other more important things

That's just my opinion of course.
