I only really started coming to this thread recently
So i don't know the full story

It's just I have seen other devs get run off
And it makes me feel really bad for them

I can't imagine putting my heart & soul into a game
Just to have people say I suck or that I'm a terrible dev

I think constructive criticism is fine
But I think a lot of the time people treat devs like they are emotionless machines or something.

I do dislike people who try to strong-arm devs into adding/removing content they like/dislike and so forth. And then there's the plebs who never support a dev but then lose their shit when a release takes a long time like they're owed something. I think it's ok to post about an update taking a long time, but when they are constantly taking the piss outta someone for it, meh... fuck off with that. I pull my money out when a dev doesn't perform. Which is why I've only supported Ocean once.

Noo...she hasn't dropped yet (and recall I'm waiting for full chapter before playing this update), but she not quite up to the standard of her old version...yet lol...I'm very sure she will be though by the time we get back to where the old stopped. She is still awesome.


He did get a lot of shit thrown at him...more than the usual devs get to be fair...however, Ocean (as much as I like him and his VN's)...was not exactly receptive to a lot of it...and that just caused more issues...rinse and repeat...

Yeah it's a vicious cycle
I think for some devs f95zone can be a blessing & for others a curse

Honestly I would never say it to him
But I don't really think his games are as good as lots of people say they are
I feel like he focuses on render quality too much over other more important things

That's just my opinion of course.

Hahaha we sound very similar at times...I've also supported him in the past but stopped due to primarily this getting places on the backburner (this was always my fave of the two) and have also followed this since before I made an account.

Also agree with your annoyances. If paying folk force a change, well, it might be annoying at times but you can see why they campaign..and why the dev folds. Any other reasons is just..ugghh.

Yeah, I don't give two squirts of piss about SG. I think it's terrible. Great looking girls... but just unappealing MC, story, etc. And also, no sex. The story is not even close to being good enough to not have any sex.

Hah, I hate when devs let paying folks affect too much change. Just tell your story as you envision it. It's perfectly fine to take ideas, but one thing I hate is when a dev does a poll for content in the next update. Tell your story as you envision it! If you're having trouble with ideas, sure, ask the supporters, but stick to your vision while doing it.

My theory is this is a product of the internet. The instant feedback syndrome. Sound minds in this new world have to start divorcing themselves from the "user feedback" mentality. Most of the 'user feedback' these days is one useful bit of feedback buried amongst the meaningless blather of 100 trolls and idiotic basement dwellers and dotted with the attacks of the malicious. It's sad, but undeniably true. My wish, is that developers ignore that stuff. All of it. Write the story the way you envisioned it. Take your user feedback from the backend of the release, with the final critiques. Use those as a developmental guide for your next project, or sequel, or whatever. People will enjoy your work better if it's the creative piece that follows the roadmap you had in mind to begin with, because the story will flow with the way you write. Changing directions, adding and changing crap and characters that didn't follow your storyline will only damage the flow of the final piece.
It's not to say that the feedback people give you serves no purpose, but always remember this. The people providing that feedback are already attracted to your work, or they wouldn't bother. That being said, I can almost 100% assure you that whatever you release, they'll play. Even if you get negative responses from the fringe kink maniacs, they'll still be back the update after that. Stick to your guns. Let us see what you've got. You've already got our attention.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ocean is the one making the patch and posting it to lewdpatcher as a way to avoid Patreon bullshit. It could be someone else... but not sure. It's always been my belief that yeah, this was meant to be an incest story, considering the 'unit' that lived together in the same house with younger people of similar age and then two older people. But, I don't really know. But yeah, if it's meant to be canon, it's patched simply because of Patreon BS.

Exactly and yes, I believe to my knowledge the patch is 'official'.

Basically, the story without incest...none of the conflict (especially between MC, Katie and Leia) makes any godamn sense.

With this release we can 99,9% be sure that Ocean releases the patch - I'm personally 100% sure.

I don't really know how I feel about this update and the game in general. I mean, it's not bad, but definitely not anywhere near SG's quality as far as story and characters go. Granted old WIAB only got good towards the later updates, but this was supposed to be an upgrade and I just don't see it apart from the renders of course, which are great as always.

Also, what's up with characters talking like children and behaving like teenagers? Aren't they supposed to be older? There's some of it in SG as well, but it works better because they actually are teenagers.

I see what you mean. I removed the p initially from that jump line when I was first just testing to see if the problem would be resolved and the scenes would play normally. I forgot to change it back. But as you said, it won't break anything.. and really, it doesn't matter.

I never fuck her in gym for all of the playthroughs. The very first blowjob at the start of the game transits into sex, so do we reject that or not? And I seem to do everything else right, fingering whenever possible and getting pool blowjob, yes open relationship. Don't remember getting the porn option at all..

you dont need to reject the non-gym option. If you wanna check the counter, in console type "Mhy" and see what value it is when you're at the end bar visit.
