Except it wouldn't and this is why I have issues with harems here.

Katie, Bella, Jolina, Lily and Jenna would all be looking to move into the beach house with him and they are all parts of different groups.

Monica, Zarah and Elaine would probably be wanting him to move in with them and, again, different groups.

Now he'd have to split his time with the other girls which fucks romance out the window because there are so many girls he'd be spending a few hours a day with one or another and a few of them would be expecting them in bed with him every night.

Lily would only take anything with Deb if you aren't on her route because on her route she wants MC and only MC while looking for advice on how to turn Deb down. Katie's route would be MC and Katie together with the occasional switch around and orgy because no way does she accept anything perma.

Monica may accept a 3some with Zarah but full time, not seeing it.

There is absolutely no way to make anything semi realistic involving multiple groups or even large groups, it just wouldn't work and would look silly as fuck.

Out of every single game on this site i've seen 2 that would work as a harem and that's Sisterly Lust and Parental Love. Both because the MC isn't the be all and end all of the relationship, the girls are all fucking each other too.

The only way it works is if the story is completely ignored and it's turned into a fuck fest because there is no narrative where anything you said works and doesn't look ridiculous.

Your version of things takes all these girls that are looking for a loving relationship and making them okay with a timeshare fuck probably once a week and spending the rest of the time on their own instead.

If you remove relationships and just make them all fuck buddies .... still wouldn't work, most of them are young and attractive and would deff meet someone else in that state, there is no way that would work long term.

I would argue all the above but just like several months ago the numbers say one thing and the devs say another so either the endings going to make sense or it's going to be a cluster fuck of nonsense.

"She is Dizzy by NAME but not by nature" - As some have suggested, saying this could be Lily, for me has no basis.

Why not? She's the only one that's been referred to by that as a nickname and it obviously upset her if that option is chosen in dialogue during the conversation it happens. She may have very well been seeing the MC's dad in the final year or two of his life. Nothing's been brought up about how long he was cheating on elaine, just that he was.

There is no point me keep saying there is no harem when the numbers behind the game is telling people that's exactly what it is.

I can't compete when there is evidence to the contrary.

Another thing I like about this game. Normally I am either way about a harem, but I really don't mind. But in this game because of the main story having to make a choice between whom you want to pick is made that much more interesting. If you go with the will than one group can be ousted already, but do you want to bail on anyone from that group. And then of course you have no real idea who from the other group is actually trying to play you and what their end goal is.

They weren't my guns, I was backing the dev up. Devs have said no harems and no incest so I did what I could to temper people so they weren't disappointed expecting a harem.

Doesn't matter if it's all groups or just a few it still doesn't make sense to the plot and is impossible to make anything resembling semi realistic.

What i've been trying to explain isn't my thought process, it's the games narrative. Everything I say is what is presented in the game.

The reason any sort of large groupings or multiple groups looks silly as fuck is because it goes against every single thing the game has presented. The one and only way to make anything like that "make sense" is if the plot and characters are ignored and it's turned into a fuck buddy game.

One thing I have realised during this is very few people seem to give a fuck about the characters and just want sex scenes.

You've already seen a few people here piss all over the story and characters to try and wrangle what they want.

Just to hammer my point, I don't believe there is a harem. Cheeky and Ace have done too well with the writing thus far to butcher it with nonsense. It wouldn't make sense to the plot or the characters and I don't for one second believe either of them would do that to a game they have worked this hard on.

The only thing left for me to do is nod and smile while people build these fictional harems and then point and laugh in their faces as I try and get enough breath between chortles to inform them I told them so.

People always want their cake and to eat it too. But as Co-Writer/Coder I can promise there is no way a full harem will fit the story or the majority of characters. Cheeky feels the same in this regard.

Which is great but even mini-harem/poly relationships don't seem to fit most of the characters. Obviously, you and cheeky are the arbiters but I just don't see how some of these characters agree to share the MC on a permanent basis with other women. Sure there are women who it feels would be more willing (Debbie and Lily) but when you add Katie to the mix I don't see her being open to permanently sharing the MC.

In the beginning I thought it would be great to have a harem ending, now I feel like it would ruin the characters to even have mini-harems. Ava can be very convincing, as can you... I hope that whatever you have planned as endings don't feel cheap when we get there.

Well, I've trusted you this far... I just hope that you and Cheeky make the game that you want and don't bow to pressure from anyone. This game has some of the most believable characters I've seen in an AVN. It is a pleasure to play and figure out the mystery while enjoying the many beautiful people in it.

Keeping the characters real and believable is our primary standard. Just as important to the story as the story itself. Sometimes though we have the reverse problem (as far as letting people dictate what we do). Most of the time we barely stick our heads up to let our QC team review an update more than a few days before release to see if we aren't too stuck in our own heads.
