In England yes, but Canada no - family law act states in Canada, two people are considered common law partners if they have been continuously living together in a conjugal relationship for at least three years. If they have a child together by birth or adoption, then they only need to have been living together for one year. I believe Ireland and Scotland have don't have common law marriages either, but have laws to cover this area.

As far as I've understood it MC receives the money in increments over five years. After that he is free to do whatever he wants. If he breaks the will within those five years he forfeits any future payments. Someone may remember if there is a payback clause somewhere in there.

Best of both worlds would be to take the money, no contact for five years, then continue like before - if they are willing to wait.

There IS a clause requiring money to be returned if you breach the will, that's the whole point to will conditions, they are legally binding and recognised in court.

In Swedish Family Law "Common Law Spouse" (or "Sambo"= "live together") have slightly different rights to inherit compared to "Legally married spouse" especially when there are children from previous involvements.
When a parent dies, a child can not be excluded by a will.
The inheritance is always split 50/50, where the kids share 50% and the surviving spouse gets 50%.
Debts can never be inherited but then the survivors get zilch except in case of Life insurance where the benefactors ar paid.

My clear No1 is Jenna with a side dish of Jolina because Jenna is clearly into that. I would also be happy with a Katie Mini Harem with Lily and Debbie. But honestly I am mainly interested into not destroying Monica's Families dynamic and ensuring her business succeeds. If i can manage either of the girls and achieve that i'll be happy.

Yeah, i just meant in terms of story development. I have no interest in taking the money for an initial playthrough but i'm guessing the story will run along the lines of the other parties trying to manipulate the mc into doing whatever, possibly to fulfill whatever their terms are. If you aren't sticking it to every female in the game, you really don't seem to learn half as much as you do when you are (Obviously, getting that close to people you will learn things) So my point was, if we aren't putting it about and aren't learning much if we're being a good boy, i'm wonder what, if anything we'll be able to do against any conspirators.
