I guess in the grand scheme of things, Whispering Ledger can be summarized as "A merchant tries to make a shitton of money by building up his business contacts and supplying both sides of a war. Chaos ensues.". There's lewdity and nudity, but his first love and primary focus is his shop and growing his business. Will there be lots of sex along the way? Depends on the player. In its final state you'll be able to play through the entire game and not have sex or direct sexual contact with anyone at all if you'd like.
