The payoff probably. I'm planning to lock scenes behind the love route. If you max everyone's desire you won't be able to align with Aphrodite and you'd end up tearing the veil for good. At least, that was the original plan. I can adjust as needed.

yes both routes need to feel fully fleshed out and relevant, otherwise there will be issues

so you are telling love route players to wait till you are done with the game?
It's probably best to include some unique scenes along the way. I've actually got an idea for the Yui's love route. Going to try it out and see if it fits.
In my opinion they should have different scenes but both should have scenes i really dislike when in games the love path has less scenes than the lust one what i should do is makimg the love scenes more vanilla more fucking while you kiss the girl being more romantic The lust oath should be the more dirty and rare kinks Anal footjob armpitjob bdsm petplay etc.
If you are not gonna put scenes in the love path i rather you dont make a love path and focus in the desire only we are here for hot scenes if one path it dosent gonna have one i rather not play that path
Depends on the planned content and kinks. My taste won't be for everyone but normally the kinky things tend to stick to the "desire" route, when I'd like to have them in the Love route too. Since the Desire route is likely going to lead to a negative ending it makes it so the Love route players don't get to enjoy these kinkier scenes. Too put it blunt, You can call a girl a slut in the bedroom and then cuddle after. You could always make some things optional instead of completly dismissing it. The thing is my scale of light to dark is going to be different to yours, probably. I like a strong MC that can dominate but also care and love.

So I've gone ahead a fluffed Chapter 1 with additional content since I wanted it to be perfect before moving on. There are 91 new renders and 25 new animations. Yui's love route now has some weight and Yuna has some spicy scenes. Unfortunately, I made some serious code changes to the love/desire system and broke the saves. My apologies, but this shouldn't be a recurring theme since I've got everything in place now. Chapter 2 is not present in this update, but is very much on it's way! Not sure about ETA, but I'll try to make it decently long.

Just did the Prologue so far, but judging by the Prologue, the Desire Route seems to be the fun route. Might go back later and do the Love Route then, but for now, I am just going to focus on the Desire Route.

In other news, the game finally got indexed on itch, so I'm waiting to see how it does on there before taking things further. If no-one's willing to back the game, then I may prioritize other creative outlets. Pretty understandable given the state of things. I think we lost most of Europe and Aussie land to the visa/mastercard issue. Bad time to launch I guess.
