It's also possible that trauma caused him to be brainwashed, making him easily manipulated, and Kora using him as a subordinate for the plot of Chapter 2. Who knows?
It would be interesting if Aldos becomes the ''dark lord'' for Chapter 2. A fallen hero like Anakin/Vader, for example.

possibly Hilda with the help of the other elves in the village
I think Hilda is a character confirmed to be in Chapter 2 since Silicia (her daughter)'s backstory in 2 has her finding out about her affairs when she gets older.

Silicia will probably be the Tanya in Chapter 2 (buff warrior lady)

Let's see what Darthz is cooking up.

I liked the new alternate ending.
I think the only Chapter 2 plotlines we know are that Kora obviously wins, she marries Sieg (Aldos's son), befriends Lire (Aldos's daughter), we play as the Chief's son (Kazuto?) who is married to Lire. Kora tries to turn Lire into a whore like her mother but it's a more multiple choice/ending type story compared to WOTDE CH 1

I mean... Live a Live started similarly. That poor fucker Oersted got backstabbed by his "friend" and lost his love thanks to him... and became like the worst threat the world ever saw across multiple timelines as a result lol
It isn't entirely impossible for our buddy Aldos to go sicko mode as a result.

Question: Is Glavius the protagonist? I got the first alternate ending where he runs away with Tanya, and his change seemed out of character. Are there more endings like this? I know they're not canon, but it seemed to me like the character changed drastically by the end, or does he change for better or worse in the game as the story progresses?

There are multiple protags, mainly Aldos or Glavius. I think Glavius does have clear signs of love for characters like Tanya, soft spots for the kids and his dead old friends. Moments of remorse etc. Though he still is fuelled by vengence and horniness.

It's rather fitting honestly. Glavius is very human (which, fair, since he IS human) in that regard. Incredibly flawed and bitterly hungry for revenge. But he's not an outright sociopath either. Hell, he's not even the worst character, morality-wise, in the cast at all. He's just a dude who's horny and angry and is now taking what he thinks he deserves at the expense of others. He loves Tanya and he wants her back after fumbling her last time even if she's with someone else now. He hates Aldos and wants revenge so he bangs Sephira (I'd say he corrupted her but... I'm of the mind that Seph was always a turbo slut just waiting to be unleashed. He was just the first to show her that). He's horny so he bangs Hilda. It's all so very human and that's what makes him a pretty compelling character imo. He's not just a villain in that regard.

I see then Aldos for netorare scenes and Glavius for netori scenes. Usually in these games you only play from the husband's perspective. I haven't played a game where you can also play with both perspectives

That's because gladius is more interesting and is better written than your average antagonist and other characters or events usually work well around him.

Even if Aldo is shown to be a simpleton, he always initially suspects something until his sense of loyalty and friendship blinds him to the obvious truth, but he gradually leans more and more towards accepting that there may be something going on as the story progresses and that lingering sense of dread in him is always there.

Darthz is a good writer, that much I can attest to.

Even though the game isn't that deep, Darthz writes the characters very well, making it impossible not to like at least two characters in the game.
