Hazarding a guess that the issue is "everything costs 1000g, and blowjobs pay a pittance, so getting anywhere takes forever" maybe?
Someone else mentioned about all their progress being reset at the end of a day when returning to the main menu.

Follow-up to my own complaint:
Yes, the start is a painful slog, but you can make it a little bit easier on yourself.
- First 500g: Hire Zoe and swap her in. Double money means less grindy pain.
- Second 500g: Buy the XP book from the store and give it to Zoe to boost her speed.
- Next 1000g: Glory hole. An extra 100g every 10 seconds or so is so much better than you're getting from the rooms right now. Just make sure you keep clicking it every time the animation ends.
- Then just cycle through opening up new rooms for girls who aren't working, buying XP books to level the girls to level 2 (Level 3 is generally just a gallery entry I think? Check before assigning), and hiring all three girls.
- Once you get two girls working at a higher speed, you'll probably want the queue speed upgrade to get clients showing up fast enough.

I read through the code, the 0.7.0 code is RED7X7, tested it and it works, not sure though why it needs to be inserted like every other time you wanna watch the gallery+
