yes i try to avoid koikatsu more for the animations when are not smooth enough could harm the player experience in the scenes the feel like weird dummy trying to move, while in 2d games usually either the don't have animations or have smoother animations that i think is better even thought the characters design is more simple.

i feel like there's a weird trend where the majority of games tend toward grotesque art style for their girls. like i don't mean, plump or whatever, you know in the real world beauty comes in all sorts of shapes. but not these shapes lol. these are just truly grotesque and weird. why is that so popular as an art style for porn?

They are not ugly, they just not beautiful, comparing to better shaped and textured models.
