Why do some people simply hate NTR?

My question is more based on the fact of genuine hatred, that there are people who feel angry at the NTR genre, to the point of almost getting out from behind their computers and hitting people in the street. hahaha

I understand people who don't like it or can't stand the genre, but to hate it to the point where it affects you emotionally is a bit too funny and exaggerated.

I posted my first game these days here and on other sites (if you're interested Summer Salsa), it was on a site that had people who hated it to the extreme because there would be NTR in the game in the future, I honestly think it's funny and I take it as a joke, but I didn't want to meet that person who hated it to that extent. hahaha

But the one explanation I've found most concurrent is that those that hate it self insert as the main character being cucked thus they feel what that character feels. Whereas those that don't don't self identify as that character and treat it like a story they are reading with characters external to themselves.

It's definitely a good point and the best point of view, but what makes me laugh the most about this situation is that if you don't like a certain genre, just don't play it and get on with your life. But people like a generalized war.

Most people aren't kink-shaming, they're just annoyed by those who go into non-NTR game threads demanding that developers add NTR. On the flip side, there are also people who enter NTR game threads just to complain about NTR. They're two sides of the same coin, and I can't stand either of them.

Tbf some games do have 'avoidable ntr' and maybe some people love to live dangerously, like those who hate rape but play 'gor' games.
But it's not something I fully understand, especially not when it's obvious the game is centered around a certain kink. How these people find these games to even ask such a question is interesting. Maybe they want to beat ntr out of ntr game so they can sleep at night.

It's kinda the same thing when people go into vanilla game to ask for ntr, as other person said. Like why? If you want ntr search for that specific tag instead.

If netorare offends a person so much that they have to ask the question - then no, it's not dumb that they should skip that game.

Not every game is made for everyone. People don't need to play everything. If players see a tag of content that causes them problems - just leave the thread and find a game that better matches their tastes.

I see your point, I am honestly fine if someone were to ask said question when it's not super clear.

Me personally, I rarely play games with tags I can't stomach. Although as someone who is into 'not so vanilla' stuff, I'm not going to lose my shit that easily. If I do, it's usually a birth of a new fetish.

I'm not a fan of NTR either, but I do sometimes play well rated NTR games, for story if nothing else.

But I just don’t understand the mindset of people who are so sensitive that they feel the need to complain and skip a great game, even when the NTR content makes up only 5% of overall content of the game and is completely avoidable.
