Why do some people simply hate NTR?

Someone should study all the specimens who kink shame. They probably don't even play porn games, they just come here to type essays about the fetish they hate.
As I said, I find it funny how these people think. Wouldn't the right thing be just not to consume the content you don't like? If I don't like something, I don't consume it, and even better, I don't go around claiming why I don't like it.

I'm not a fan of NTR either, but I do sometimes play well rated NTR games, for story :KEK: if nothing else.

But I just don’t understand the mindset of people who are so sensitive that they feel the need to complain and skip a great game, even when the NTR content makes up only 5% of overall content of the game and is completely avoidable.
In fact, I think it's more of a repressed fantasy of those people who hate a genre in an unsavory way, I think they're ashamed to admit they like it and play it in secret.

I have no problems with netorare - it does nothing for me one way or the other.

However, there are people who are so adverse to netorare that they can't even stomach it being "optional" or "avoidable" - they don't want it in the universe at all. For some - they are fine with it still 'happening in the universe' - but they can choose not to see it.

But in the end, there are almost 22,000 games listed on this site and fewer than 2,000 of them have the netorare tag (full story line, one scene, optional, avoidable, etc). Why even bother considering 2,000 games when there are 20,000 others to choose from.

A person could play a different game each day to completion - taking almost 55 years to play the 20,000 games not tagged with netorare. And, should they still be alive, they would have thousands of new games to choose from.

Again, common sense. If it bothers a person that much - just don't go in those threads. Don't consider those games. People don't have to play everything. And there is not a single game on this site that has a tag which a person might have problems with that is so good that they cannot pass up the chance to play it. Move along.

If a person adverse to netorare does somehow play all the games and desperately need to find a game to play and only netorare games are left... honestly, they have a serious addiction problem.

That's it, it's crazy how these people think, it's like an irrational fear. Like I like NTR and I like many other genres and if there's a genre I don't like, I just don't play the game, sometimes I might even praise the art or something. I think like that, nothing I dislike affects me, so I just let it go.

Is there a way to avoid NTR in this thread?

in any case, you think NTR is just some "kink" that doesn't hurt anyone, but some of us have lived the horror firsthand.

I was eight years old! Let's call her Laura (I can't even say her name out loud after all these years). We always shared a juice box at the swings during recess. We pinky swore. And then she saw a video of him: black spiky hair, biceps bigger than my whole body, his idiotic laughter...

Next day she wasn't at the swings anymore, and I had to hear from her friends that she was claiming that he was her boyfriend and talking about "Saiyan pride" or some shit.

Some of us know the true pain of betrayal, and not by some faceless self-insert, but by Vegeta, the prince of Saiyans himself. You don't come back from these scars. So don't tell me NTR is "just a kink". I hope you and all of your degenerate fans get cucked by Piccolo - see if you still find it funny after that.

(And no, Laura never apologized. Last I heard, she's living on planet ape or whatever it's called now. I hope she's happy with her elite Saiyan bloodline or whatever. Fuck her and fuck you)

Also reported for not tagging the thread as NTR.

It was a trauma for you, I'm sorry, but Laura is right, Vegeta is a hottie. :sneaky:

Speaking as a dev, 100% @ me asking if a certain tag you would dislike is avoidable, and in what way is it avoidable. I am happy to answer those questions.

There are marriages where the NTR makes up less than 0.0001% of the content, and dudes quit those too. Go figure.

Yeah, but you skipped over the "completely avoidable" part of the sentence. Like I said, I'm not a fan of NTR (or sharing/netorase) either. If the MC suddenly gets NTR'd without warning during the game, I'd be annoyed and drop it too. But if it's entirely avoidable and/or depends on the choices you make, I don't see the problem.

I dunno about right and wrong but I don't think I will ever understand people who are obsessed with things they despise. I mean I love masochism myself but they sure go out of their way don't they?

As someone who enjoys ntr+phone+ai games (oh no!) recently I see it all the time lol. I am not opposed to criticism at all, I even admit these games are not exactly 'quality' material, but I literally see the same people hoping from one ntr game thread to another going mad about it.

Like another person said, it's like they can't stand that things they dislike exist. It also looks extra funny if they curse and insult everyone in vulgar way. Such passion I swear.

How many games are really like this though? My understanding of NTR games is that the NTR is front and center, the whole game is about it. So when someone sees that tag, it's reasonable (for them) to assume the whole game isn't worth playing.

There are some harem games with the tag for example, but it's almost always netori. Yeah, we still don't have netori and netorase tags on forums.

Our red string
Power Vacuum
Deliverance (no NTR tag, sharing)
Babysitter
Babysitters
Desert Stalker (no NTR tag, sharing)
Eruption Imminent
Life happened
Long Live the Princess
Saving Paula
Superhuman
Where it all began

I just listed the games I have bookmarked right now, so there are probably a loooot more examples out there.

I've said it before, there are very few kinks that are equivalent, or at least attempts, to recreate a very real life event that happens to be one of the most painful memories that some people have. Getting cheated on in marriage is usually avoidable with effort as well, usually, but not always, just like games. I love a good NTR story, but understanding why some people avoid any game with NTR in it like the plague is easy to do, not hard.

Not understanding that is a lot like a psychopath not understanding why some people won't get a dog again because their first pet died and they don't want to go through that again.

I understand, and I agree that some people have legitimate reasons to avoid anything even remotely related to NTR - my friend was cheated on, and it nearly destroyed him. But judging by how many people complain about NTR, you'd think half the users on F95zone had been cheated on themselves.

But like I said, I don't even like NTR - I have no idea why the hell I'm here defending it. :KEK:

You don't have to actually go through it to want to avoid it, quite a few people have watched friends or family go through it, others just don't ever want to even imagine going through it. This is not a hard concept.

But the one explanation I've found most concurrent is that those that hate it self insert as the main character being cucked thus they feel what that character feels. Whereas those that don't don't self identify as that character and treat it like a story they are reading with characters external to themselves.
identifying with mc only explains not caring for ntr. it doesn't explain the rage towards the genre and anybody who likes it. like for me ntr is the last thing I like, but I couldn't care less that others like it. why would it matter to me.

rage is usually a sign of fear and an attempt to mask or control that fear. like homophobes get angry because they feel something while looking at and thinking about hot guys, which they for one reason or another think is the end of the world. so rather than accept their gay feelings they attack what's causing those feelings. where as for actually straight people it's irrelevant whether someone is gay. like good for them, more pussy for me.

soo, when some people get that ragegasm about ntr, maybe they DO feel tingling in their dicks while looking at it? and because they have a delusional ideas of what a 'real man is', they're scared of not fulfilling that male model and instead get angry. like you ALWAYS see tons of demeaning language used by the angry guys, it's all 'spineless', 'weak', 'cucks' etc, in an obvious attempt to attack the manliness of ntr lovers. just like homophobes beat up gays.

and of course the subset of ntr lovers who berate other people are no different. they're just as likely to try to attack the 'manliness' of others because they too haven't dealt with their inner submissive and masochist yet. they're just as afraid that they're not 'real men' for liking to submit, so they lash out at people who remind them of that, the anti-ntr brigade.

they use the ntr fetish porn because it feels good, but haven't yet understood why they like it. this too is very common with homophobes. they secretly consume gay porn and even have gay sex, then hate themselves for it, and in public attack gays to cover it all with anger.

anger is the sign of a scared coward.

You are not defending unwanted cheating irl, just respecting that people have different kinks on here, a concept apparently foreign to some people.
anger is the sign of a scared coward.
You don't mean this in general right, it's just regarding 'phobes'?
Because anger towards someone trying to kill your family etc. can give you courage to act.
