Why does it seem like so many devs are averse to impregnation? (Thread is NOT about implementing pregnancy in games)

Well, there is research on "biological imperative" or the need to procreate for the continuation of the species. So, technically, a "pregnancy kink" could be one of the few fetishes backed by medical research.
A biological imperative to have kids is not a kink. It doesn't translate over to porn for most normal people. It's more of a "I want kids soon" thing, not a "I really want to watch that skank in the NTR game grow a big ol' belly after a creampie"

Honestly, I never paid too much attention to those 'don't worry, I'm on the pill' lines but now you mentioned it's true they exist. Only devs could say why they add them, if it's a way to ensure players their actions won't have that consequence or it's simply lazy writing -or a way to keep the preggo fans away from demanding that content later on. That said, going on saying that this line undercuts the creampie experience totally seems a you problem, because that opinion is based on you getting off by the thought of having the chance to actually impregnate the woman by cumming inside her, which is just one approach to the creampie kink. Other people simply enjoy the feeling of nutting freely in a woman's pussy, making her feeling it too, but without the pregnancy risk naturally attached to that practice - which is easier to convey by having the woman saying she's on the pill than going on about probabilities or fertile days. Some players wouldn't care at all if the creampie eventually lead to a pregnancy or not, especially in a lewd game, but others might only bring themselves to do it and enjoy it if they know for sure it won't happen.

In that sense, if I'm not interested in getting a girl pregnant and, for whatever reason, I still cum inside her pussy, I'd like to be reassured as soon as possible -and preferably on advance, I guess, but that's another discussion- that there's no chance she'll get pregnant. Just my personal preference. And I'm sure there are many people who just find STDs and pregnancy equally out of place in a porn game they use as an escape from reality, so they appreciate this quick confirmation (and again, why the absence of STDs in the game's world is not treated the same way, with characters reassuring the MC he won't get infected, might be another interesting topic to discuss). Maybe most devs simply agree with this stance, or think most of their players would.

We are gone from to be married and have children as a family to see impregnation and pregnancy as a kink.

Not seeing it as a kink...Don't be misrepresenting me. I don't want any kind of pregnancy in games.

Edit: To be clear, I don't mind if it happens in a game though I would prefer that it didn't, I just don't have a pregnancy kink and I don't play the pregnancy, knock 'em up focused games. They are annoying.

Oops, apologies, I quoted wrong post as I wanted to answer the post above yours. Oh well...

Why are games entirely focused on knocking up multiple women annoying? really? Is that a real question?
Yes. Because it's a stupid question.
The solution is easy. Don't play games with pregnancy.
There is also no need for you to complain about said games, just ignore the tag and you won't see them again.

Yeah, it works more on a normal females side though, who can't separate "wanting to fuck this handsome guy" from "wanting to have children from this man".

Put babe into the womb
But... how does it translate to what you can see and what you can read during a sexual scene that differs from a default (male-female vaginal sex namely) ? The definition of a "fetish" - it is something that you can't be hard without or something without which you can't achieve orgasm effectively, something that is not inherent and not usual for a normal male-female sex. Is this some sort of a weird x-ray-like view of an uterus and egg and a spermatozoons around it during a climax, is that what people mean by it? Is that when a female yells something like "BREED ME HARDER!!!" during a scene, or what? Anyway, people mentioning "impregnation" as a fetish are retarded monkeys imo.
