I was watching Sabrina Carpenter’s new song (named Manchild), it’s literally a man-hating, slay-and-cheat girl song.


It got me thinking on how much normalised misandry is these days. Living in 21st century as a man is not less than any curse. I’ll go as far as to say we are in a matriarchal society. Sure, women are getting r4ped and abused but that doesn’t change the fact- an average woman carries more social value than even an above-average man. Society will always be on your feet and you can get away with shit ton of stuff being a woman. You get no advantage being a man anymore. And the crazy thing is you’re supposed to support these “slay-girl” whores. If you say anything which the burgeious people doesn’t like- you’re gonna be an outcasted.

Your comment has no basis in reality. Men still overwhelming control nearly all, if not all, societies in this world by a wide margin. No matter the five social institutions: Family, Education, Religion, Government, and Economy - all prioritize and are mainly led by men. While the Family does have strong maternal leanings, it is the men who make the rules and have the say over the Family institution through their power in the other four institutions.

Edit: also anyone who dismissively types "Sure, women are getting r4ped and abused but..." about real life sexual and domestic violence (and can't even be adult enough to type the actual word: raped) should probably consider a bit longer than a moment of introspection.

I don't think there's any difference really, people just found their own groups to complain with and they all come together to yell at others. That's what the internet and social media has enabled, so it looks like there is a massive army of idiots out there.

People just like to yell and complain and well... whatever I guess. I'm perfectly aware there are a lot of women out there who could not care less about this shit and won't see every man as a potential predator or asshole, they just go about their day.

There are assholes everywhere and they are very, very vocal about it, that's all. About Sabrina... I don't even know who the hell she is or what music she makes lol. I barely even listen to more mainstream music, my playlist is full of videogame, movies and anime soundtracks, plus some very cool electronic tracks.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like some stuff out there isn't completely batshit crazy, but... I don't think you will be too affected by it in the end as normal human beings are still out there.

On a different note... Does anyone else feel a little disappointed whenever you see an attractive woman online and they almost always have an onlyfans? That shit depresses me. It's not a matter of what they can or can't do, I'm just always bummed out about it.

So I guess they do keep throwing me more pics, that does makes sense with the algorithm.

It's still like, "aww man..." whenever I see it though.

Naw, I quickly copied and pasted them. Today was the first day I even listened to the song after OP's complaint. She's literally only talking about 1 type of man who the character in her song seems to only attract (and is attracted to). The song isn't talking about all men or a majority of men or even even a significant minority. The song is making fun of the main character and the character's mutual attraction with the male version of the "dumb bimbo" stereotype.
