1) You said pick between being a man or a woman - not specific people (or the talents/looks of specific people). And,
2) no, I would still pick being a man - if I could pick specifics, there are many I could choose (myself as I am, included) that would be considered more influential, more talented, more powerful, more intelligent, better looking, and more impressive than nearly all, if not all women when taking into account of how our current society values people based upon certain demographics.
This isn't even counting menstruation cycles, pregnancy, UTIs, and the other life matters that women go through as part of biology.
In our world, in our society, as it is right now - we (the collective we - world-wide) more value men than women. In Europe, North America, Australia, and in many other parts of the world - it's white people that are valued more than anyone. Even in countries where white people are not the dominating social group. It's greatly due to the entertainment, media, fashion industries, as well as the United States having been the most recent world power (after European Imperialism started fading). And at the top of the valued white people social group, the most valued is white men.
So no, even with all the whining in this thread about the falsely perceived persecution of men, particularly white men, they are still the "top dog" of the pack.
So, if I could pick - it would be to be a white man.
Oh wait. I am a white man. Boom.
