I loved the previous version, but in this version, I didn't even make it past the character creation because of the messed up rotation mechanism. This really needs serious fxing! It's impossible to make the character face me; when I stop the rotation instruction, she makes another random rotation, making it impossible to get her to face me.

you know, I remember that the version before the dev decided that there was enough content to go for a paid version only actually worked far better, with less placeholders, game systems that actually worked and felt decent enough to play

By the way whats enjoyable about game that is so bugged you cant play it with out it locking crashing or bugging out every 3 minutes?
Id rather play the game with low content ugly graphics but STABLE with a functioning gameplay loop in it...

ok so I have amd radeon rx 6500 xt and I get like 5-10 frames with the lowest settings. Anyway to hack it lower beyond what the game settings allow or is it just not meant to be for me?

Well if it helps (cpu i7-13700KF)

game is on the highest settings (gpus no OC)
my gpus: RTX 4090 FE 190+ fps (lots of crashes) <--- IT WAS A DRIVER ISSUE
RTX 2080 ASUS 70-170 fps
RX 580 (8gb) MSI 30-45 fps
GT 1030 (2gb GDDR5) 10-23 fps (some crashes) <---- VRAM ISSUE

Oh and i tried the lowest settings...... nothing changed in performance (the game looked like a pixel fest )

I actually noticed that you can go as low as 1% resolution scaling, otherwise 0% just means 100% or something. The settings are very wonky, they don't properly save sometimes.... well anyway, with like 15% rs I have around 20 fps in the world (and everything looks worse than minecraft) and 300+ fps in the main menu lol. There has to be a way to make world textures worse or something or turn off some effects.. this is pretty sad xD

Dude there are major Core bugs in the game that have bin there since the 1st release.... and hes adding more and more "content"/ bugs ontop of that switcing game engines and with out fixing major problems....You cant build a game on Core Game bugs......

And youre pretty optimistic with the: "I personally do not at all mind seeing the game in a broken state, because I can look forward to what it will be like when its finished.

You do realise like 90% of these games get abandoned right? you can wait and be optimistic till the cows come home but the chances are this will never be anything other than a broken buggy mess. Even iff it doesnt get abandoned this will probably be like other "big" porn game projects and get content so unbelivably slow that you will just give upon it ever beeing a decent game like many many others:

look at Wildlife, Breeders of the Nephelym , Project Fallen Doll, Carnal Instict etc etc (and those have multiple devs working on the game).... yet they are in development hell for 7-8 years now with almost no gameplay or content with very low probability of ever becoming something other than a buggy pre alpha tech demo...

But i also wish that it gets finished or mostly finised but there has NEVER bin a large scale porn game that EVER got finised so far, so im realistic here not optimistic...

You and I both know that games like this usually set up to fail, they fall short or give up all together, but. If you look at it from there point of view, everyone is complaining about the game so maybe I should just stop working on it. I keep fixing what I can while I'm trying to pour out new content, and search for bugs that I'm having a hard time figuring out but, everyone just keeps complaining. Maybe I should just hang up the coat on this game.

Honestly, If i was reading people complaining about the work I'm trying hard to make good for everyone, I'd get sick of the community and say fuck all of you to.

Not saying that's what's going to happen, but, if all I read about what I'm doing is negative stuff, no constructive criticism at all just whinny bitchy ungrateful RANDOM people playing the game free. complaining about stuff I'm trying to fix.

It's an alpha game with continuous updates so lowering the games size to 5gb or so is pointless and time wasting for the developer (i seen game with 1/3 the size with barely any textures and it was 33 gb)

That is true, hopefully, when the game is complete, he will focus on polishing and optimize the game.

And guess what i AM working on a game my self in the Godot engine a 2dpixel art platformer so i know its hard to make a game, and belive it or not, im not releasing it as a broken unfinised mess and i know where to focus and not just throw around addons willy nilly coz they are pretty....

No it's not. The version like on the previews is available on the itch.io link. It's only the demo version though, but it's somewhat more stable than the actual version. It's up to you to decide which version you want to play

I don't know, what I was reading sounded like a whine to me, one giant whine. Perhaps how I took it, and how you meant it was different.

Downloaded the game and went to go open it, PC tells me it cannot run it without a driver update. I don't believe it run the game anyways bricks before I can load in.To get the driver update and then the game runs absolutely fine. thinks nothing of it goes to play other games notice a performance increase. frames per second overall goes from a jumpy 60 to 70 to a stable 120.

Some valid and fair points. The track record of ambitious adult games is mostly non-existing when it comes to launched products.
And there is no reason for you to trust that i wont be abandoning this, like so many other devs, and i won't try to convince you otherwise since id rather let the project speak for itself on that matter.

Also i am fully aware that i need to get better at polishing. I definitely do add lots of half finished features that break down 5 versions down the line. It's very much a throw everything at the wall and see what sticks approach.

But in my defence, at least i do attempt to implement features (many whom are suggested by the community) rather than make shiny roadmaps that never materialise. If you are a dev yourself you know every feature requires a lot more than you initially expect. It quickly ends up being a whack a mole situation and scope creep is very real, especially with an enthusiastic community pitching in with ideas.

I do feel you are unfair though. Maybe you experience crashes but i never have and have pretty much 0 reports of it. If you do i would advise you to investigate your system. Also while the bugs can be very annoying, very few are "game breaking" in a sense that you can't advance at all or need to restart the entire game. I try to address anything that actually halts playing completely as soon as possible. If you have more bugs to report i'm unaware of, feel free to report them rather than just negatively ranting.

I rarely visit f95 since there is a lot of entitled people here who, in addition to playing a pirated version of the game, also seems to feel i owe them something just because they pirated my game. Not overly convinced by that argument.
I'm making this game because i find it enjoyable. I also like it when people play my game, obviously. But that doesn't mean you are entitled to anything simply by playing the game.

Sorry about the rant, and hopefully the major issues of DLSS/performance, quests and infinite pregnancy will be solved in a soon to be released version. Also very much appreciate any constructive feedback and bug reporting.
Things like DLSS breaking due to plugin changes was something i didn't realise until i came here and read about it.
