I know, right? I can't complain about it though, the architect was pretty low rent and worked for free.

3 levels and all of the important stuff is on the first level. Crafting stations at the back of the house. Second level is wide open, I set it up as a 'breeding den'. Top level is open and I designed it as an 'observation level' for the breeding pit.
It is pretty much just crap that I throw together as I build up a base, so it started as a 4x4 tile structure (left front corner of the building) with a bed in it and I just kept adding on to it until I felt it was big enough.

NOTE: When someone uses the Load Building from the Cheat Menu, it will place the building in the exact same location that it was originally constructed. So, verify where the building was created and make sure you don't have anything built in that same location.
So, here is a screenshot of where I built this base at:

I went very basic on this one figuring i would build a better one later but its a good starter home and has what i need ....the next one will have a back door or even some side doors so i dont have to fuck my monsters to make them clear the way LOL

which brings up a good point if you get trapped by you own monsters in a structure just fuck one of them and the rest will move off clearing the doorway so you can get out this save having to despawn and respawn them all fast home.jpg

I agree and said earlier that the grind collecting stuff was harder but really after a couple of levels you can mostly hack and slash through most and in worst case just bring one or two buddies and all the monster killing and looting will generate most of the things you need for crafting and food recipies, which btw are a bit OP, especially the demon burger and deathbread. Give some level to things and you can hack and slash and loot your way through the game pretty easily with some decent weapon and armor.

And in the start before your crafting is more complex wheat and berries are easily found in this update so I find it easier or more convenient to just gather these instead of farming. They are easily seen and close to spawn plus there is really just one step to it then you got them. But each to their charms ofc.

Someone else gotten the Stranger mission and accepted his request?

I am still VERY new to this game, but I have encountered the Stranger, once. However, I was unable to get his mission, or talk to him at all for that matter. Might have to do with how he was walking around at the bottom of a river, deep underwater, just enjoying himself. Couldn't interact with him at all, but he was there.

(I'm assuming that's a bug. Is there a chance he'll ever come up from that river bottom on his own, or do I have to do something about this?)

Love the game, but it really needs a main quest to keep players oriented and searching in the right places. And...to be fair, it DOES have a loose main quest, but it refuses to tell the player about it. You're left to maaaaaybe stumble upon the core gameplay progression items. I may be uniquely retarded, unlucky, and/or blind in this instance, but I am, at minimum, proof that it's possible to entirely miss these dungeons when all of the lesser challenges and sidequests are landmarked and obvious. At the very least, it's a strange inversion of visual priority. A simple journal entry that's always there from the beginning of the game to end is all I need to let me know that I'm moving forward. Man does not live on sidequests and random chance alone...
I feel you man, I really do. I loved how the game felt and went all in, but eventually I realized there is no story. I dove into the discord to see if I was just missing shit, but nope thats the way it is. I talked with someone who discussed this with him and he was open to have someone write in some quests and such. Not sure about a main story tho. It feels like that is something he's worried about ruining the experience or something. But I think he's open to lots more side quests. Maybe a short but climactic main story mission about the demons would be cool and maybe he'll spend some time with the dragon's quest, but at this point I would not wager on anything. Just appreciate it for what it is and don't expect anything else. That should keep you from being disappointed and if anything gets added you can be pleasantly surprised instead.

You should be able to find him at several locations around the map. I think there are 3 or 4 locations you can find him wandering around.

If he isn't talking to you, have you met Isabel yet or done any quests for her? She is inside a large tower, just south of the town of Graycott. I know his quest revolves around her character, so it might be that you have to interact with her first, before he will say anything to you.
If nothing else, try saving and then exit and restart the game. It should reset all of the NPCs so he might be more talkative after a game restart.

I can't find the last armor piece

"Parchment of Velvet Sin:
Among broken halls and ivy's claim, the villa sighs with whispers of silk and sin. There her touch lingers, soft and cursed."

This has to be the ruined mansion ... but nothing.

The others:

Grave of the False King has 1 or 2 slaves that you can find. It is on the hill, that is near the starting area where you find the fisherman.
Hollow Tunnels has 2 or 3 slaves that you can find and free. It is located on the far southern end of the map, close to the coast line.
The Iron Creed fortress has 3 or 4 slaves that you can free. The slaves there get a little buggy and they will occasionally be found attacking each other (or you). Just spam E until you can talk to one.
Maiden's Last rest has 2 or 3 slaves that you can find and free.

Mira, at the town of Graycott can be charmed akin to how you tame monsters to be your companion. Masturbate near her or use the Alluring staff to have sex with her, after 3 times she should become your companion/slave.

That dungeon you mentioned actually does have 2 or 3 slaves that you can free. They should be down the left passage (and probably the same down the right hand passage as well). Once you kill all of the monsters in the final room at the end of either passage, there should be prison bars lining the back and side walls of that room and inside those prison cells there will be slaves that you can free.
They are intentionally hidden in the shadows to make them easier to miss.

Here is a screenshot of my map, it should have MOST of the locations for dungeons, ruins, and various other places. There is always the chance that this map does not have everything possible in the game. I don't run around looking for every single thing I can find, just most of everything.
View attachment 5572392
I don't think Grave of False Kinds has Slaves anymore - at least in the run I just did under new-start (Dec Steam) it doesn't.

I also don't think one can get Mira any more, I guess I will retry but earlier Steam it did not seem possible to get her (have sex yes but not get her as companion - but I would be delighted to be wrong!)

BTW the Wiki-map
- seems to still be accurate for (almost) all locations (possibly missing but I think it has everything up to the August/September Steam realease).

Speaking of dungeons, which dungeon is probably the "easiest" one? A starter dungeon, if you will, to see if you can handle it, or which you can flee easily enough if you get overwhelmed. I was massacring the werewolves and the like in the ruins around the Grave of the False King and thought "Okay, maybe I'm ready for a dungeon." Went inside the GotFK, and broke my (fresh) sword on the first enemy I encountered, and couldn't get back out of the dungeon (or get enough space to go and repair my sword) before I was surrounded by five guys constantly knocking me down and not letting me out of combat long enough to leave the dungeon.
Grave of False Kings - to the East of the Fisherman Hut and up-hill from the Drowning Hollow ruined village (where the werewolves are)

It's probably the easiest. I would go in though if you are under lvl say 30 with companions / servants (have to have care to resummon them inside and if they summon stuck-inside-floor or wall, resummon again, I found that typically on 2nd summons [de-summon then re-summon] they'd appear "in the clear" in corridor. If your companion servants are lower level / werewolfs, make sure you got a number as they'll get massacred.

Although Pinemountain and Stormhammer (which have slaves to rescue) I don't think are really much different (same tempalte dungeon overall and seem to me to be about same monster difficulty, maybe a bit more, but certainly not less.)

Probably wisest he (the Dev, Rawdarkness) understands his own limits, which seems to be the case - adding more side quests or follow-ons could be neat although he probably should give some thought to a longer-term play value proposition. Building revision seems to be a nod in that direction. Maybe more development using existing mechanics, breeding, etc. to provide alternative routes on longer-term play if the PC has leveled up to the point where going around killing things isn't really a challenge at all (I want to run a multi-service Monster Brothel bringing peace to the land, hah)

Heavy or Light armor? I'd played Heavy pre-Steam, so this time I was considering trying Light, especially since a lot of them were added this update, but they seem kinda... inferior?

I think the only advantage of light armour is that evasion makes you negate 100% of damage instead of 50% like absorption. But until you will get consort armour T2/T3, you are a paper with still low dodge chance. So better just to stack armour values with heavy.

As evasion stacks linearly T3 Consort + Feline mask gives you ridiculous dodge chance, but well, it's already so late into the game so kinda no profit from that.

I'd love if light would give some stamina benefits. (or heavy giving penalty, but basic regen would need to be buffed)

Wow thanks for this. The 1st share ever with the new features, this is awesome! I figured it would replace all your current buildings with the current one. At least that made sense in my head :)

The Wicked Island topic is going to be lit with all the bases being shared around. Can't wait until we start seeing some EPIC BUILDS and Can't wait until there is a castle like mega structure that all will love.

Cheers!

Apart from the game being fun for some time (i.e. exploring and fighting), the H-scenes are unfortunately rather bad: The clipping (not just arms and hands, but the 'relevant' part) is really prevalent, the controls are minimal, no "ending"-scene.
At least better than some 50GB-big Illusion games where they don't need to animate anything because they are originally censored anyway.
The potential is there, but needs some care to make it better.

oh the animations used to be so much worse until maybe 2 updates ago, models were coupling in random directions all the time. it was such a mess
