So this update is quite disappointing. The map has been changed dramatically and reduced in size. Its like everything was removed, the map changed, then some things were added back into it. Very limited for now.

However, going to the map screen you can drag the map very far offscreen which leads me to believe that more land or islands will be added later to utilize the rest of the open area. There is potential and I'm hopeful.

You can now cut trees and the wood is gathered automatically like ore. You can also hold the chop/mine button to continue rather than tapping it again at the end of the animation. However it does seem to use more energy than previously.

Only one dungeon that I've found and the map isn't big enough to hide another it seems.

Masturbating near monsters can sometimes glitch where you are in the animation, but the game thinks you are not. You have to hit the "unstick me" key and then hit the "block" key with a weapon in hand to get out of the animation.

This build might not be worth dling for now. Seems there was a change in creative direction at some point and they just quickly slapped a coat of paint on it to be released asap.

Edit: Something else I just noticed about this build is that using melee weapons does not increase XP for their respective skill. Instead, XP is put towards Unarmed. The bow works as normal however.

Is the itch io demo completely updated or does f95 need updated?
Itch and Steam demo are not the "full" 0.8.5.7 game, the map its another one smaller than the full one, i dont know about the content but seeing how big its the full map pretty sure demo its missing lot of content.

Btw: Yeah f95 needs update with Star ver which is the good one.

Game reeks of the issues that come with making a game in Unreal.

Horrifically unoptimized, LODs hilariously don't exist. You can have objects pop into existence from sprites (the well and farming plots are one) and the game requiring frame generation and Nanite on even decently powerful hardware. Black texture issues like the steps of towers leading to dragons, some of the armor and the table and chair.
I don't know how much of this is the dev's fault, vs Unreal just no longer being a good game engine if you have to worry about making it playable on normal hardware.

Other hand, conceptually. I really like it and I can see from the dev's implementation of features, no matter how janky, I can see where he's going and like the direction. The combat I like, but it needs major polishing, but it can feel satisfying when fighting one-on-one, and the building is good too with a solid basis for improvement and an actual direction to go.
