Bozo question - Dragon = Drake (relative to the Quest? [I know Drake and dragon are synonyms usually but from game PoV to be sure...]
They are not synonyms in all cases. Some literature refers to Drake as Dragon, some refers to Drake as a beast. Some refers to Drakes as humanoid, slightly bigger than men, having descended from dragons.

(Drakes are also male ducks.)

Bozo Answer -> Dragon is to feral as Drake is to furry, so Dragon =/= Drake

But seriously, there is a dragon that's sitting at the top of mountain on the southern northern peninsula. While they are synonyms in some forms of media, I think under the game's context, it would seem more appropriate to call a drake a dragonborn rather than a dragon; especially when one such dragon exists in-game.

Also, there's this little lore bit:
Dragons
Not much is known of the dragons except for their immense power and long lifespan.

Few humans have been known to communicate directly with dragons. Their interests rarely concern the world outside their own and their natural habitats are mountain tops all but impossible to reach.

Drakes are the historical ambassador between dragons and humans. In ancient times humans presented concubines to be seeded by dragons. Their offspring where the first Drakes. The bridge between the world of dragons and humans. But as human ambition expanded at the expense of other races the dragons withdrew their support and the Drakes disappeared from the human world until the war began.

...so they are definitely different here.

Okay - more to the point , on the map are the Drakes (aka dragonoids I deduce) in the Dragon area marked on the map (as marked on msg I replied to)? Southern Peninsula (to spare myself wandering around and around overly much)
ETA
Nevermind, I see on lore page (thanks for link had no idea that existed)
The dragon island with 3 guardian dragons and several Drakes

Keep in mind I was referring to the version here when I mentioned "Southern Peninsula."
8.5.7 Full version. The dev plans on having the demo and full version maps the same in the very near future.

The Itch and Steam demos have a different, smaller map.

That being said, I must apologize. I misremembered the map thinking the peninsula was to the south-east when it's actually to the north-west. i don't how my dumb ass head thought that without realizing it.

Here's the map of where you need to go, Serpents Perch:
MapToSerpentsPerch.png
A word of warning, the dragon-riding mount portion of the code is bugged is bugged as hell, usually with game-braking issues (dragon mount starts flying backwards and no longer gains altitude; can't dismount the dragon normally, and when you somehow do dismount, it's impossible to interact with anything unless you respawn yourself). So I wouldn't recommend completing the dragon's quest unless you saved before hand.

Thanks, yes I am on that version (from here)...
I had indeed read dragon flying is bugged up, but am only on Have Sex with a Drake (having not really done much questing, only did the dumb-mayor and then bring the Were-baby)

another bozo Q.... one gets tokens (or whatever one calls them) for weres / monsters seduced/dominated into being servants - it seems that they are linked to the specific one you seduced/dominated - at least the Drake ones I noticed bear specific names and don't seem to work on other members. Is there any known game reason to keep these around? Or can i get safely (for various game values of safe) get rid of them.

You can keep them if you wish. They allow you to dismiss/re-summon your monster. On the off chance that one of them dies, you can re-summon them with better stats provided that the body hasn't decayed from the game world yet (haven't tested this yet, but I have had tokens that were associated when a summon that died or was deleted, which lead to a blank token that doesn't summon anything). However, something I notice is that if you re-summon them too much, their stats can become broken: incredibly high hp, hit enemies for 0 damage, gain passives that make them impossible to kill even with friendly-fire (drakes have an evasion passive that makes melee attacks useless, and bow + steel arrows can't do enough damage to counter the high Max HP and HP Regen, even with head shots). I haven't tested this much, but I think the monsters will wait outside of any dungeons you enter and you can't summon them when inside. I think I did that once with a drake follower, and he was there when I left the dungeon.

You can also get similar tokens when trying to raise a child or summon one from the research bench.

I bet this game was abandoned, is this still under development? it's taken a way to long for a small bug fix patch, i can't imagine why this game is so laggy, it looks like minecraft with plastic lowpoly textures yet it requires a decent brand new pc

If you try to create a summons by raising the baby with the slave and 5 milk bottles its always a Troll no matter what kind of baby you started with despite the token not being a Troll ear. The summons created used to create new Trolls every time it was used instead of dismissing the one summoned. I think it doesn't do that anymore and works like normal, but still stuck with Trolls no matter what the species actually is.
Similarly, if you have a baby with the dragon it will be a Troll baby. The dragon and Troll are the only two species that have 2 vaginal sex animations, 1 anal and 1 oral (maybe coincidence?). Werewolves are the only other species that has all three animation types (anal, vaginal and oral), but only one vaginal making it equal chance for each. However, the werewolves give little xp towards any of the deviancy skills compared to any other species. All the other species are strictly vaginal, even the Nightmare that has two dicks and clearly is using both holes.
Lastly, if you drop the summons on the ground and then pick it up and try to summon again it will now be a Troll no matter what the summons was before you dropped it. These Trolls certainly are Trolls...

thanks - I know I can keep them, I have quite the collection. What my question was for summons which have died or disappeared if there was any known utility to keeping those for which the subjegated creature has disappeared or died. Seems no.

It seems to me that summons tend to disappear after a period (and if one goes into say the tower, saves, returns, I tend to find they disappear if I am not mistaken, I guess error in the regen routine). But I read many pages back others see this so seems to be general.

I wonder if I can sell the things in the human village.

(as a side note, it seems in current version 8.5.7 that money is disappearing in cases where one saves, exits game, and then returns, anyone else see this?)

[ETA: Bozo Questions series continued]
thanks to good citizens I have the knowledge of repair kits (haha Time Bandits movie ref], however they seem not to work on special objects like the Slut Staff (aka proper game name the Allure Staff / staff of alluring allowing sex w any monster) which i found through mmm overuse one can actually wear out.
On decent chance I missed or forget, is there any mode (besides cheat to get new one) to repair?

ah the perennial game abandon statement/prediction/threadpoop (after the thing was updated) One of the most useless things people do on F95 after complaining about developers making too much money while themselves not being a subscriber.... electrons are free-ish I guess.

As far as I am aware there is no way to prevent any specific summon/follower from disappearing when you enter/exit a dungeon or if you tell them to wait at some spot and then walk away from them, it has been like that for quite a while in this game.
As you know already, you are given a token with which you can re-summon followers, it won't be exactly the same summon (names change), but the tokens do actually seem to work in this version.

Your money should still be there even if it shows that you have 0 gold in your inventory. It is a UI glitch that I have seen around for quite a few updates. If you actually purchase something it should 'refresh' your gold and show you how much you have.

I think you can sell stuff in the village, but don't quote me on that, I don't think I have tried to sell anything. I usually need everything I find OR I just hoard stuff on the off chance that I might need some and storage is pretty cheap to make.

The repair kits work fine for me on pretty much any piece of equipment I have, from bronze gear all the way through to the dark steel and legendary gear. I was able to repair my slut staff with no problems, however I hadn't been using it much so it wasn't very damaged, but the repair kits worked just fine on the staff (for myself).

I am pretty sure that staff is a one of a kind item, so if it is completely broken/bugged, you might need to just open up the cheat menu and spawn yourself another one. The only other thing I can suggest is to put the staff into storage and then take it back out again and see if that 'shakes something loose' and lets the kits work on the staff again.

I can confirm that you can sell stuff. You can sell to both NPCs.

That's true, though I swear I can recall an instance when the grown baby drake was able to become a fully grown drake and not a troll. I think if you conceive -> birth -> raise with slave and 5 milk -> summon using produced token all within the same session, it be the species of the father and not the default troll. If that's true, then it's probably because the game doesn't permanently store the father's data, and any reloads that disrupts the session will lose that info, resulting in default troll child.

Good news is you wish to avoid the raising part, you can convert it into a summon using the research bench. Just don't drop the summon.

Yeah changing the names seems pointless it appears as at least when one reloads a save it seems to entirely reset.

Right, I have indeed discovered that now, when I did a purchase and suddenly a ridiculous amount showed up.

I think you can sell stuff in the village, but don't quote me on that, I don't think I have tried to sell anything. I usually need everything I find OR I just hoard stuff on the off chance that I might need some and storage is pretty cheap to make.
you can and I often do, before learning one can discard ... and I found yes one can sell the extra summons tokens oddly enough (although it seems a bit buggy).

thanks (and for the xtra suggest) I will have to try again.

If you summon a creature in a dungeon and tell them to wait they are there when you come back. When I come back they are there waiting, but they don't have the purple bar under their health bar indicating I'm their master. However, they are not hostile and if you go up to them you can see the dialogue trigger "press E" which you can use and then choose "Follow me" then the purple bar is back and they are like they were when you left previously. In other words, don't confuse them with the other hostiles, and instead remember where you told them to wait. They will be there each time you come back (might need to tell them to wait each time before leaving again). In previous builds, when you left and would come back they seemed to level up, just like summoning a creature multiple times seems to increase its level, making them useless at a certain point. This build doesn't do that and they maintain their health status and still seem to deal and take damage. You can even throw away the token before you leave the dungeon the first time and they will be there waiting when you come back. I left a Nightmare in the dungeon that I leveled up some outside the dungeon before I went in. I left him there with ~2500 health and each time I come back its the same.

Slaves can persist in the open world as well. When you liberate a slave from a dungeon you can then immediately try to summon it with her collar. You will get a prompt on the center of the screen saying "She will be waiting for you outside". When you go outside she is there and if you leave her she will be there when you come back. If you try to talk to her you can "liberate" her again (and get another collar), but you can also tell her option 2 which changes her state in some way. After that you can talk to her once again and there is new dialogue that I believe wasn't intended to be accessed this way. You can ask her to bear a child, but I'm not sure how to get her pregnant. Likely something that will be continued on later with development (I hope).

You can also get the Wildlings to follow you. Have sex with them 3 times and the game thinks they are your slaves just like everything else, though you get no token to summon them. So when you quit the play session they are gone. If you tell them to wait for you and then leave the area they are gone. I got three of them to follow me and I tried to go back and get three more to follow me, but the game crashed before I could.
