When I tried to launch the game it said "this app cant run on your pc".
I did just get a brand new pc that came with windows 11 installed.
I attempted to run in compatibility mode for windows 8 and got the same message.

Thank you! I finally got the game to work. Now it seems I have a lot to learn about playing but at least I can now.:)

This message means you are trying to run a 64bit application on a 32bit system, today (2022) 98% of games are 64bit (2% - crappy indie games) so your new pc is pretty much useless when it comes to gaming.

Are these 2 parts meant to run separately or are you meant to extract one into the other?

How do you combine the files after? I unzipped/unrarred them both but they are both still in zip folders and it says im unable to extract or unzip them?

jesus christ why isn't it just one file, i'm following the direction and renaming and everything but it just keeps giving me errors

Right now something wrong with the game.
Opening the game even on SSD the drive will jump to 100%
and just stuck there.

What issues are you having? Which file did you download, from Itch or from one of the mirrors here (the official link is itch, the others i don't take responsibility for).
There are several thousand people that have downloaded it and played without issue. Not sure how i would test for every possible pc configuration tbh but if you have any advice im all ears :)
