Here's the fun part, it affects the save game as well.Ouch did you have a save before you went in ? I always make a save before stepping into any portal or dungeon in case it goes FUBAR

Wow that sucksHere's the fun part, it affects the save game as well.
guaranteed you will get 60 fps with that gpu on version 8.2 on medium settings and maybe even high with lowered resolution that's how badly the newer builds run, I seen people on here saying that after updating from 8.2 onwards the framerate absolutely tanked for them and these are people with a rtx series that have complained about the massive drop in frames.I actually managed to make it through that cave on 0.8.4.5. My graphics are kinda crap, plodding along on a GTX970 and on low settings I had actually managed to glitch the graphics to where the cave was well lit. Doubt I could ever repeat that trick though.
There is a small village you can find in there, on the map the icon was called Sanctuary. There were no NPCs or anything else, just a couple empty buildings, but it was a neat find.
On the surface this game looks fun. Was the performance as bad in the previous version? I have a 5800X and a 4080 and it barely hits 60fps with DLSS on, and runs choppy af. Unreal is a cool engine but you still have to optimize it smh
Honestly it is a pretty nice concept so far, it's like Valheim but has the sex.
Previous patch was a lot more stable and ran pretty smoothly on Epic, not sure what happened this patch but the dev has managed to tank the performance to unplayable levels.
Oh, woe is them. They are only getting 60 frames per second with DLSS enabled.guaranteed you will get 60 fps with that gpu on version 8.2 on medium settings and maybe even high with lowered resolution that's how badly the newer builds run, I seen people on here saying that after updating from 8.2 onwards the framerate absolutely tanked for them and these are people with a rtx series that have complained about the massive drop in frames.
I bet there is just one asset in the game that is unreasonably large in model count and has 10k textures or some shit that or it's the foliage, i can't see it being the map increase alone, it has to do with some asset i am sure. But unreasonably performance drop aside the game itself is borderline unplayable with how buggy it is now ever since 8.3.
I'm just saying its ridiculous that is even the case considering how smooth every build prior to 8.3 runs, i to am also getting 10 fps even on low with the recent builds.Oh, woe is them. They are only getting 60 frames per second with DLSS enabled.
Dude. I am getting TEN frames per second. If I stare are the ground and don't move, I can get all the way up to ELEVEN FPS.
I truly doubt that there will be any situation for this game where I get 60 FPS on high graphics settings, on my current video card.
I don't know what your point was in quoting my post, I wasn't complaining about anything. I am very aware of how heavy this game is right now on performance and how buggy this game can be.
Strange, i have a Radeon RX 570 with 8 GB and the game does not care about that.lol. this game says I don't "have enough video memory"...dude I have a 4090 24GB
i dont know, it starts, i create a character and then press "start game" starts loading then I get that error. I have all graphics setting on max, but idk if thats the problemStrange, i have a Radeon RX 570 with 8 GB and the game does not care about that.
Can you post a screenshot of the entrance to the "DARK ORE CAVE" to the close southwest of the lake? I circled that area but couldn't find a cave entrance.Up dated the map a bit more adding another cave for dark ore, as far as charcoal goes if you go west of the field marked copper you will find a set of grey rock pillars there is lots of charcoal in and around that rocky area more than enough for your needs
the good thing is there are no monsters around and no bears in fact the only one beast in the copper area is one Satyr and he is easy to kill he is just south of the copper field toward the start area , Reaper spawns drop iron ore and charcoal and nightmares drop brimstone all in small quantities and since steel swords is the minimum to kill them its better to go mine it your self ...the north face of dragon island has 3 dragons that spawn one at the dungeon gate one in the valley west and a final one by the water to the west so if you need dragon scales its a good place to get them do not attempt to go to the south side of dragon island or you will drown its a sheer rock face with no way to swim out View attachment 3344465
look for my post 1572 it has two images the first is the cave you seekCan you post a screenshot of the entrance to the "DARK ORE CAVE" to the close southwest of the lake? I circled that area but couldn't find a cave entrance.
which part bugged ? i got through it fine. Are you opening your journal using the j key to look at your tasks before you start each one ?Tried latest patch, game already bugged when the fisherman quest doesn't work properly AGAIN, how can the dev keep having the STARTING QUEST bug out every single patch?
When I started a new game on the current version (0.8.4.7), the fisherman quest to bake some bread, bugged out on me.which part bugged ? i got through it fine. Are you opening your journal using the j key to look at your tasks before you start each one ?
it wont start counting what you gather until you do that step
Are there only a total of 2 dark ore caves and no more?look for my post 1572 it has two images the first is the cave you seek
if you leave the starting area and keep heading north past the copper field you will come to an area with a couple of were boars these is more copper and tress etc north past that and in the hill to the west is the cave
its well west of the lake if you go up the hill to the lake you are going the wrong way stay in the plains to the north east of the start area
anytime i go in i get at least 3 one time i swear i killed 6 and yes the only two caves i know of are the one in plain i pointed you to and the one in the desert .......since the intro of Barnabas the black smith in town you can avoid the vamps if you want and just buy the dark ore from him he sells everything you need to make up to black steel weapons ....though he does not sell dragon scales you still have to get those on your own.Are there only a total of 2 dark ore caves and no more?
Also vampire bats seem to be random, sometimes they spawn and sometimes they don't, which allows easier mining.
First time I entered a cave with vampire bats they gave me a jumpscare and instant death.
When I enter the cave and I see them, I shoot at them with arrows to pull them one by one out of the cave to make them easy pickings. They are lame and ugly when you see them in the light.anytime i go in i get at least 3 one time i swear i killed 6 and yes the only two caves i know of are the one in plain i pointed you to and the one in the desert .......since the intro of Barnabas the black smith in town you can avoid the vamps if you want and just buy the dark ore from him he sells everything you need to make up to black steel weapons ....though he does not sell dragon scales you still have to get those on your own.
good thing is he buys raw copper ore so you can mine it up sell it to him for coins and get anything you want , iron ore , brimstone , dark ore , and charcoal.
and yes the vamp drop makes me jump every time even though i know its coming I just keep swinging that great-sword until they are all dead
fast run is w plus shift key ........if you hit space and a directional key you roll alt toggles between walk and slow walk , F is the jump keyHow do I use the Dashing skill?
