yes you can store it in a chest, less a baby than a baby token.

So I know about four quest givers, 2 of which I declined thinking I could just accept later.

Fisherman (tutorial done ofc)
Isabella (everything up to and including drake quest done)
Mayor (declined)
Solas (declined)

I've done one of the dungeons, am now starting to collect crystals all over the island. Feels like I can oneshot most overland enemies at this point. Are there any quests or other content (besides a few dungeons and caves) I missed?

I am pretty sure that you can run the game on an RX580, but the experience probably won't be top tier.
I had a GTX 970 4GB card with 16GB RAM that I used to play this game on and if you turn off most of the graphic options and set the overall quality to low/mid, you might be able to get some 'tolerable' FPS (20-30 FPS maybe).
