Yeah, old saves of this game, not the previous one. Two completely different games.
Excited to see where this goes. I have played a lot of its predecessor. Follow your own vision fidless. Passion about what you're doing is important. Some of my favorite books have started to become shit because the authors gave in to a shitty fanbase and now it lacks luster. Whether or not this has similar themes of the oirans...being oirans (intense and interesting scenes/renders of them with not just the MC) or harem (a pleasure house owner who doesn't like to rent out his loves so finds other means--more combat, etc.) so long as its done well, most reasonable people will appreciate the art for what it is.
My quick take: There are porn stars who are married and still active entertainers. Sex is sex. Making love is making love. A MC who has to share the women he loves or is trying to protect in order to make ends meet at first seems more compelling than a lot of shit harem anime. In real life if you're in an open relationship it goes both ways.
Whatever you end up doing, I wish your team the best of luck. And passion.

It's about the balance to deliver diverse content with optional paths players can take to offer a variety of fetishes. Makes the game more interesting and rewarding whatever path you chose.

As long as it is possible to maintain a good balance when it comes to delivering the content, there should be no problem. I just hope the sex between the main Oirans and the MC is kinky not boring or bland.

Wouldn't that be a problem (other than having less money), because according to the story they are supposed to be Oiran?

If I ended up downloading the 1.4 form the other topic before this one got made is there any point downloading again? Bugfixes and stuff between then and now or is it the exact same?

What happened to the original girls? IMO, they were cuter than these two main girls in the game... I'm sad....
I found a bug, Atleast it is for me, Once I go to the map to the general shop, I try to return to the petal office and it loads me the but I dont get any menus whatso ever, and even when i hit escape to try to save or load that doesn't pop up and i find myself having to manually exit the game without saving. at this point i have avoided going to the general store now and just office management. Not sure how to fix this issue if anyone could point me in the right direction on attempting to fix it.
Literally hit the map to go to the store, I sold some of the loot from the initial loot from progressing to get home with all the fights, once i sell the items i dont need, I purchased a fan or two. I leave and go right to the petal and once i get there into the office Nothing shows up I just see the back ground image with all the books, but no menu, when i hit escape to save/load games it doesnt show either. I hear the notifications ya know when you hit escape of click on the stack of books for tips/ patreon code/cheats you hear the audio clips but no menus cant even see the box to end day and go into the night phase. This only happens again once you go to the general store, sell/buy and go back to the petal.
