Except that this isn't just a simple brothel sim game but is actually a VN with 'brothel simulator' elements. It wouldn't make much sense storywise for an LI or an oiran to have flexible roles. Well I can see a scenario where it actually would but it would be too complicated and too much work for the dev.
Yeah sorry I don't buy that. At the end of the day, it's still a porn game. People are playing this game to jack off plain and simple, some story for context is always nice but if it's getting in the way of the porn you're doing something wrong. The plot should be something to facilitate the porn content, not the other way round.
edit: To simplify it, you write the story to fit the porn you want to show. You don't write the porn to fit into the story. That's blatantly counterintuitive. Nobody cares that much about the story.

I think there definitely could be alternative routes to turn at least Saka and Yura into love interests rather than Oirans. The only thing really separating them from that right now is having sex scenes where they work as prostitutes. They express enough reluctance about it to fit, the only thing really forcing them into it is the brothel needing money fast. It would definitely require extra work and some things to maybe be rewritten though. I have no idea how the development process works so it doesn't feel fair to say "just do it lul". Best I'm hoping for is that it's taken into consideration since there is demand for it (I'd love to see it personally so I'm biased)

Quick question: what causes an oiran to fail horribly at night services? It kind of sucks to send them off to a client and then they fail, get 0 profit, and then you can't use them for the next couple days. Pretty punishing mechanic if it's RNG since it has happened several times to me already. I'm wondering if it's RNG or if I can avoid it completely.

Anyone struggles playing animations? My 4core/4thread 3.2ghz desktop cpu really struggles with the animations as it stays close to 100% all the time. I didn't check how many fps but it's most likely less than 10. God, even the text scroll slows radically. Besides that this is a pretty good game so far. I enjoyed it a lot.

That must be some old-school PC. But yea, you're not wrong. RPGM is not the most efficient PC (web tech-based engine), old/outdated computers will have issues running it.
My 2015 400$ laptop (i5-5200U 2.20GHz) runs it 50fps, animations 32 fps.

Well, I never had issues with Treasure of Nadia videos and they had one if not the best quality animations.
I'm using a newer web code to play videos and animations runs x2 better (performance/frames) without them crashing like on regular RPGM, so it must be some issue with your machine. Maybe it is a driver issue.
Can't really offer any solution. WR RE compared to TON should run worse because of higher resolution and more scripts running in the background, but videos should play better.

It's strange, I open/play the WR RE videos for instance on media player classic without any issue. PC uses like 5-10% cpu to play them. The game.exe processes, the 7 of them, use from 20-40 amd with ingame video player one of the processes go up to 70%. It's strange the entire machine was using only 80% of the cpu now but it was still with quite low fps. It wasn't close to 100% this time and text scroll was in still slowmotion. Machine has 12GB Ram and a 2gb 660TI. Never issues with other games here.
Anyway I didn't play the first one but this one is great and I don't play it for the videos anyway. Thanks for your time.

It must be some issue my game having with your system. I know chrome browser runs 100% CPU on my PC if I play it online, but opera and all the other browsers run it fine. Unfortunately, I can't offer any solution to this at this moment.

Oh it's criticism alright, just not the constructive type. Let me put it in words your kind will understand. What you're asking for is unreasonable for a dev team as small as this game has. For any dev not named DarkCookie, it's just not feasible financially to hire 10 full-time devs to cater to the whims of a random internet weirdo.
Also, not everyone plays these games as simply as you do. Most people actually enjoy the story aspect of these games, it being fap material comes secondary to those people. Being a VN and not just a simple brothel simulator, it is quite clear who the dev's target audience is. From an 3rd person's perspective, it looks like you want to reshape the dev's vision of the game to suit your whims and blatantly trying and failing to disguise it as 'criticism'.

But with the customers being randomized for stat needs at this point I have nobody who can do anything and got one girl to go and then she got tired, and sick right after (twice). Cant train anybody as now only have one girl and im just losing money every night and cant even hire regular orians apparently. If I stop to train im STILL losing money as zero girls are working. So yea I can't say its playable unless your cheating yourself grands of gold.
Which if its done on purpose to get people to pleadge to higher tier is a VERY shitty thing todo. Hoping something changes how game starts you off, least get some regular orians form the start so your not going negative
