Basically this is quite a bad game focussed on cuckolding and the Italian criminal underworld that was abandoned before it was finished. While it’s pretty bad its also kinda funny and interesting. Cannot give a good rating but you might consider playing just for the spectacle.
A lot of silly elements. This 26 year old supermodel girl’s girl is has been married to a bald fat man ten years her senior since she was 23. Clearly a solid foundation for a healthy relationship! Only cuckolding can cure his premature ejaculation! Lucrezia introduces herself by saying she “loves shopping, like all girls” – somewhat sets the tone. Lucrezia immediately takes over all domestic duties for the housemate Cristian – she is blown away when he offers to do the washing up. The plumber comments on Lucrezia living in a house with two men as if it’s totally mind-blowing and wild. I can’t tell if these cultural attitudes reflect an Italian dev, personal values or stretched porn logic. Their initial house in Verona is basically a mansion – other than the pool I think the new place they are excited about is a downgrade. Some of her clothing is moulded to her body in a strange way – largely an issue related to her comedically protruding breasts.
The game is translated from Italian but occasionally slips back a bit, or is slightly incoherent, but it’s mainly ok. Often more proofing errors than translation. Not fantastic writing anyway. Mostly the characters speak for themselves, but randomly the narrator interjects into conversations to say “blah blah SHE SAID”. Why that one line? She’s staying all the others? Sometimes the name above the dialogue is wrong. As far as graphics are concerned, the models are bit dated – many of them are fairly uncanny valley and grotesque, with fixed demented facial expressions.
The whole cuckolding plotline is a bit alarming. The characters constantly switch between “I want to tease them” and “What am I doing?!” between every single line of internal monologue. When Lucrezia is keen, Augusto is not, when she is reluctant, he pressures her. Grim. The tone also varies from playful to quite dark - quite early on the wife is raped by a plumber, and the company, including the housemate lover, appear to be running a sex slave criminal operation. Also, the three central character begin drifting towards cuckolding immediately and simultaneously on meeting – if they’re all so primed for it imagine what might have happened if they had ever met anyone before! Supposedly the couple never felt like this before moving to Milan – pretty convenient considering literally every character in Milan is plotting on it. In fact, Augusto is so into being cucked that it somewhat undercuts the evil plans of the homewrecking company, which is at least a bit amusing – they’re planning to steal his wife and enslave them both and he’s like “yes! Please!” Even the evil slavers seem a bit taken aback. Also, why is Lucrezia so innocent at the start when a flashback later reveals she had a prior steamy affair? It can’t seem to decide what it’s all about.
The ‘choices’ essentially amount to a couple of opportunities to avoid seeing whole scenes with no lasting consequences. A few times you can choose the flavour of a scene but as far as I can tell these choices have no impact after the initial scene. One choice in the whole game lasts for several scenes but then it goes back to normal as if nothing every happened. Even if you never choose the ‘mistress’ options there is still a scene where Lucrezia has an argument with her ‘mistress’ alter ego – because seemingly she has an alternate personality if she doesn’t take pills: Patrizia, her evil twin sister! Hilarious.
While all the above is true, there are redeeming features. It’s laser focussed on cuckolding, so that’s something. Also, once the criminal intrigue gets going the plot is somewhat interesting! Although with a few too many characters. And throughout, it really keeps you guessing. Also, the negative aspects add up to create a kind of ‘so bad it’s funny’ effect, so it does produce some laughs. There are so many funny design choices. You can’t name any of the characters… apart from the Sicilian mafia boss’s son, a minor character, half way through. Why?? Hahaha. Similarly, there is one single animated movement in the whole game, never again. Funny stuff. Anyway, poor.
