question; have the mtl translation issues/text wrapping issues/busted menu issues been fixed? or is this worth just passing over?
It was a simple MTL translation, the images are full images with no separate text to run through the translator and get replaced. One post above yours is someone who has started to translate some of the images at least. Are the images supposed to be in english? Mine are not (like the ovary grade and stuff)

It stops giving you messages after a while but your button presses should still be counting.Hey i tried this, but i cant do it 24 times after a while it stops after fighting the slime
Does this mean it has a readable translation now?The game has become available on Steam:You must be registered to see the links
Not necessarily. I've seen some complete shit tier MTL games on Steam, so being posted on Steam is no guarantee. I also can't guess from the video or promotional images on steam which it is, because they aren't in English. Someone will have to bite the bullet and find out I suppose.Does this mean it has a readable translation now?
Whelp, bit the bullet... Still the same MTL word soup, but at least now the menus are translated. Ridiculous that Steam makes no note of broken translations on the store page. Not necessarily. even the images?Whelp, bit the bullet... Still the same MTL word soup, but at least now the menus are translated. Ridiculous that Steam makes no note of broken translations on the store page.
The images, as I mentioned before, were all still the original untraslated images, so there was no way to tell.even the images?
If you haven't already returned it, I recommend leaving a review saying how bad the translation is to help warn off other people.Whelp, bit the bullet... just to be sure we are on the same page, i'm not talking about the preview images. The images, as I mentioned before, were all still the original untraslated images, so there was no way to tell.

oh, you meant the images in game. Since it's apparently the same terrible MTL translation, those won't be translated. They weren't before anyway, and if they didn't bother improving the MTL I doubt they took the time to translate the images.just to be sure we are on the same page, i'm not talking about the preview images.
I agree that it did get rather depressing with how thoroughly it ground the MC down.I liked the game overall, but boy was it depressing at times, when MC slowly despairs, and one by one the other victims around her disappear.
The "good" ending is also so forgettable that it might as well not exist. It's pretty much equal to "might as well not have played".
It's a good thing that there is a "good" ending, but I just wish that it would've been an actual even small challenge to get it, like going down to lvl 5 to get that key.I agree that it did get rather depressing with how thoroughly it ground the MC down.
The "good" ending is basically nothing, because the only way to escape is completely counter intuitive and basically requires that you the player look up how to do it somewhere else.
Part of that is that, as it says in the ending, literally nobody has every actually escaped after being cursed like this. You are the first if you do it.
My personal interpretation is that the only way to escape the curse is to lean into the curse just far enough for it to weaken a bit, and then escape. Most people put their all into resisting, but the way the curse is designed, that only makes it stronger, and by the time they get offered a "choice" at the end, they are too broken by their curse to actually escape by leaning into it. The curse has too firm a grip at that point.
Also, while the "good" end is rather boring in of itself, it's presence helps drive home the breaking of the MC in the normal "bad" ending. There was in fact a way for her to escape, but she didn't manage it. If the good ending wasn't there, then the lack of agency takes away some of the despair because if the only ending availible is the "bad" ending, then it was inevitable anyway, so there isn't any need to get upset over things. The possibility of escape has to be real to help drive home the despair of the bad ending.
