On a real note though, where is this thing going? Constant editing and tweaking instead of finishing the damn mainline story first is not a good development model. At all!!

Edits and remasters/remakes/extensions/complete-editions should ALWAYS come LAST in the development cycle. And even then games with remasters are at least halfway to 3/4 of the way done before they're remastered!! And it's not even huge edits, but minor nitpicky tweaks!
This right here is called procrastination. Fear of progressing the story due to lack of direction/ideas/etc.

And so the previous work gets tweaked and adjusted with little to no progress to moving the plot forward.
I really hope the dev changes his development model, cause this thing is heading towards the abandoned graveyard.
