There is quite a bit of disconnect in this game between the story and the sexual content, which is rather disappointing. I find it really unbelievable that the MC would try to fool around with the girls in his team when he has so much to lose if the team breaks down because of jealously and cat fights between the girls.

This completely breaks my suspension of disbelief. I don't see the MC fooling around with the girls and the MC trying to form a team and win a tournament as the same character. Because they are radically different and their motivations don't align at all. In fact the mc in the sexual content doesn't have much of a personality at all, he doesn't have any reason for what he does, he doesn't think about the consequences. He is just a blank slate for a player.

This is a very serious flaw in an otherwise fantastic game. I shudder to think about the future implementation of harem in this game - it might just turn me away from this game. I want harem to work in some way, but the setting of this game doesn't really allow for it. I would rather there be consequences for trying to romance multiple girls.

I don't see it either. He can form a volleyball team at the day AND "fool around" (= fuck the girls) after office hours (in the evening and at night). He also got 24 hours every day like anyone else. Minus 2 to 3 hours training means that there is a lot of time left for other things. And do not forget: THIS IS A SEX STORY! ... and not a sportsman biography or an official report for the national social service department, division "girls with big behavioural problems".

MC's goal is to to train the team and win the preliminary rounds to set his life back on track. There is so much monologue and dialogue in the game about how much he is grateful for this opportunity and how much he wants to succeed. He doesn't need to ignore the girls. But it is idiotic to try to fuck all the girls in his new, tentative team and not think that it will blow up in his face and ruin his chances to succeed.

THAT is my problem with the writing of the game. It doesn't make any fucking sense for the MC to do this shit, regardless of how dumb he is. I don't want the game to be some "sportsman biography" or something like that. I want the game to have logic behind MC's actions, considering how much thought is put into his motivations in the beginning of the game. He shouldn't rush into this shit like he does right now and instead let the relationships at least slightly develop before trying to fuck the girls.

I like the game a lot overall. But stuff like this gets on my nerves a lot considering how impeccable the rest of the game has been. It is a bit tropey, but it is the good kind of tropey.

He isn't. He hasn't initiated any of the current H-scenes with the intent of having sex and in fact has not had actual sex with anyone.
