It's not a game, it's an about 40 minute long 3d animation, just ask someone to add subtitles. Anybody that can at least understand spoken Japanese could do it, just grab the mp4, put it in some basic video editing software with text features, there's tons of them out there for free, although some are pretty tough for newbies to video editing. Bing bang boom, about an hour later, the translator is done. Not to mention, there's not too much content there to really translate. It basically amounts to them saying stuff like, "My womb is going to break!" "I'm cumming!!" There's so little story, not to mention so little dialogue that matters, just search it up, it's on xvideos. Though the quality isn't great...

Listen man, I can do this for you quick, no pay, I've been meaning to add subs for a while. But I'm gonna need like, a week to do so, I got online school, and I'm cramming like a motherfucker. Get back to you in a while, if nobody else has.

Sorry to bother you, however this got me interested and was wondering if anyone has translated that game yet?

Like DigitalMan there's not much to translate, no actual text just the usual "Itai!" type reaction dialogue. It's only a game so much as you can skip around the scenes if you don't get the plain video version.

Well, at the end and beginning, there is actually some dialogue. I was gonna add subs, but well... Windows Movie Maker failed me. At least it did on Windows 10, there's no convenient way to add subtitles, at least not in the style I like. The one editing software I could find that actually allowed me to do text well enough was too powerful for my computer.

Plus, aside from the subtitles, the video for it is all available in the files, but it's all cut up, for displaying in the format it does. It's no problem to stitch them together, but again, I don't really know any editing software that my broke man computer can run that will be able to do that. So, it's a case of the right man with the wrong tools. I can do it easily, but I don't have access to the things needed to do it.

I've modded the game to add a subtitles window for voice lines, and have messed with the code enough that I can implement a translation. The only problem is I can't read Japanese (thankfully, seems even in JP javascript is written in English). If someone can translate the following, I can implement it into the game, no video editing required:
  • Each sound file
    • please label which translation goes to which sound file. pairing each sound file (e.g. 2-1.mp3) with a translation as a text file (e.g. 2-1.txt) would be the most convenient)
  • Each section's "scenario text"
    • the text is all scattered in the code and formatted in non-programmer-unfriendly ways, so I can deal with formatting.
    • The files in the data/html folder of the format simple_l_xxxx.html and simple_s_xxxx.html have the same text. please translate each of these files, and I can implement it in the main code.
  • Video dialogue
    • A few of the videos themselves also have dialogue, esp. in the first and last scenes. Please label these just like the voice lines (e.g. video 1100.mp4 has its translation in 1100.txt)
Let's make this happen!

The creator just published a btw. Working on modding the second game to be translate-able and if someone can post a link to the new one, I can mod that one too.

Alright, I've managed to implement the same mod into Kemofuta. However, I'm now currently in the same place, where the structure to implement a translation exists but I don't speak Japanese. If someone could please translate the following, I can implement it into the game:

  • Each sound file
    • please label which translation goes with which sound file. I'm pretty sure the files for the two characters have different audio. The easiest way to organize these as far as me implementing them goes would be to pair each sound file (e.g. 10_1a.wav) with a text file containing its translation (e.g. 10_1a.txt). I know a lot of them are just moans/"the usual reaction dialogue," but it would be nice to have it fully transcribed.
  • Each section's "Scenario Text"
    • Each "chapter" of the game has a title and some text describing what's happening. Unfortunately, there aren't html files with the text nicely laid out like before, so you'll have to read it off the actual game (unless you feel like parsing the pagedata_x.js files, but that would probably be a pain in the ass.) Instead, just drop them in text files labelled with the chapter numbers.
  • Video dialogue
    • some of the videos themselves have spoken dialogue. Please label these transactions similarly to the voice lines (e.g. the translation for video c2_1a.mp4 is in c2_1.a.txt).
Whoever decides to pick up this translation, thank you in advance!

Oh, and implementing this into the second game should't be hard. It's organized pretty similarly to the third game so those same TL tasks apply.

how is the translation going? this looks interesting.
No one has contacted me about this :c

Maybe I wasn't clear enough, but I can't translate this, I don't speak Japanese. I can only implement a translation into the game. I've modded captions in, but don't have text for them, basically.

Have you considered doing a machine translation for scenario text? Sure google translate is a tad slapdash but if you do that and put it out there you might have some success in reigniting enough interest to get proper subs going.

Not the most accurate translation but still pretty good for opening an individual html document and hitting "translate to english".

I have actually heavily considered doing this but honestly even edited MTL has started to sit less and less well with me over the years. Plus anyone can get that text now for the first game by doing the "simple mode" or whatever it's called in any chromium-based browser, so I'm extra not incensed to release a half-baked half-translation that everyone can already access.

As for re-igniting the desire for a translation, I feel like if modding the game to have built-in subs doesn't do it MTL sure won't, most people already seem to have a pretty negative opinion of MTL.

That said, if there really is interest in it I could throw something together. Or anyone else could, too.
