The first thing that grabs your attention is our lovely main character and the overall art style used. The screenshots shows multiple costumes which draws me in right from the start. But is the game fun? I'm hoping this review will give you a general idea about the type of game this is and if its for you.
As per review rules, I can't name other games to compare what this is like so I"ll describe it as best as I can. Wings Of Roldea is an action rpg with a focus on hit and run battle tactics and magic spells consisting of close and long range attacks. Control our lovely protagonist, Alma, and fight though hordes of perverted enemies, both humans and creatures, while avoiding traps and being surrounded by enemies and then raped.
The dungeons/stages are set up like a simple maze with a few dead ends, nothing complicated, very simple. The difficulty lies in avoiding being damaged, groped, or gew thrown all over you while avoiding traps. To advance, just find the teleporter to proceed to the next area. But be careful, Alma will get tired, hungry, and will need to use the ladies room often.
The story is pretty good. I won't go into detail but the game often uses bubble chat for the characters. There is a story for a couple main characters you may run into and you have to explore and talk to everyone to trigger their events. The English translation is not machine generated. There are a good amount of mistakes but nothing too heart breaking.
Another good aspect of this game is the amount of content. I'd say if you play this often, you will find that it lasts for a good number of days.
Now... there are a few cons I wish to mention. Its difficult to figure out what to do without a guide. A quest tab with directions would be helpful for this game. The music is dull/boring and for those long dungeons, it can be painful at times. Also if you keep triggering event after event on may different characters, the story becomes hard to follow. For full enjoyment, please read the walkthough.
The game also has a focus on protecting your virginity. They do have virgin protection magic and you can even pay gold to upgrade it further. However, your virginity has 0 inpact on the game. It doesn't change the story, it doesn't effect anything whatso ever. You can lose it, or keep it and nothing changes. I find this rather disappointing.
There is no after game content. You can restart with your stats in tact in case you missed a few H scenes but thats about it. Note that the game has different endings but it can't really be called endings. Its more like just a completion of a story arc for a side character. There are 6 endings but only 1 true ending.
overall, for an H game, I will rate it fairly high among the others. This deserves some praise.
