I'm glad I found this scrolling through the animated category, and oh boy, it exceeded my expectation.

Decent story, nice mechanism, very fluid animation, beautifully drawn art... and yes, panting sound hnnngh. Definitely worth a try!

With a New Game+, this is one of those games that are intended to be played multiple times. But honestly, you need tons of art assets to make that worthwhile. I've unlocked all the art in a single playthrough and yeah, I'm not going to NG+.

    Story 3/10

Honestly? I didn't get to see all of it (or much of it at all). I only played through once. I can see that there's a story back there, but I have no idea how to unlock it. This is one of those games where it's basically impossible to progress without a walkthrough (one of the steps to progress a quest is to eat at a particular inn at a particular town). And I followed the walkthrough and I'm still lost. Like, a lot of things are locked, apparently, because I did things out of order.

    ...

But how was I supposed to know that? Even now, I have no idea what the order is supposed to be.

I rag on hallway simulators all the time but at least you can't fuck it up.

    Gameplay 6/10

The gameplay is basically top down hack and slash on procedurally generated maps. You can swing your sword, cast ranged magic, sprint, and chug a health pot. The game play is very simple. But it's surprisingly entertaining as well.

Sadly, it's also one of those lose-to-scene games. So I found myself purposefully losing to see if I get a new scene (most of the times I didn't get a new scene). So it's a big time sink.

On the procedurally generated maps, I think the game needed a compass. Remember how I said you need to do really specific things to progress quests? One of those is getting to end of dungeons. And I can't tell if the next trigger is at the end of a dungeon I've already beaten. So just gotta run through it. Again and again and again. But it's procedurally generated maps so I spent a ton of time running through low level maps just to see if one of my quests would progress.

Lastly, the game is kind of grindy. Sometimes I'd just sit there and tank hits while chugging potions to grind up my def stat.

    Art 7/10

The art isn't amazing, but it's not bad. The girl is cute and the scenes are hot. There are a variety of positions that an encounter can take and you get exp for the various things that happen.

AFAICT sex exp does absolutely bupkis save for desire for sex, which increases your estrus. The girl doesn't become more corrupt or anything. It's just numbers and tracking. There's no observable difference. As you can tell, I'm very disappointed (and if there were effects, it was so minor I didn't notice it).

The girl can also be customized with a bunch of clothes that you can purchase. And there's quite a lot of clothes.

The one drawback on the art is the low number of scenes. If you take into account positions, then there's a large variety of scenes. But the number of scenes is like... 30? 20?

    Overall 5/10

I do like games with the girl always standing on the side. Honestly, she got in the way of gameplay. But you know what? This is an h-game and I want the h in the game.

However, the low number of scenes and the way the story got broken due to player actions is lame. Personally, I think all content should always be achievable. No failure states. Because really, I already spent 10 hours to get to this point. I do not want to spend another 10 on a NG+ because I did shit out of order.

Great story, fun combat. Enough custome variety to really make your PC your own. The only thing I felt was lacking was the sprites. They weren't bad but I wish they were crafted better. 5-7 hours of play time if you don't sprint through everything... I highly recommend trying it out

I really love the system, I love the girl, and ther personalization and open world, just I wish the pregnacy system could be more advanced and varied something like VHheroine.

It is a bit fun, playing something with a different combat system, unlike turn based in rpg maker games, but when you do killing for 80% of all your time, doing this monotonously, just trying to find an exit... it's starting to build up a frustration. Also, there is no list of available quests, you need to use walkthrough or remember everything clear. Corrupting is optional but not pleasant, cuz of cold natured character, and why you even need it, when the main thing is rescuing homeland ?
Also, exploration is so much cancer, because it takes so much time, and because of randomly generated exits... disappointing,
Anyway VERDICT: can recommend it to get relax from dull combat in rpg maker games, to get off that frustration to get another one, by killing to much, wasting to much time on that and forced slow exploration

This is a pretty good game. I had a bit of a difficult time at first looking for what to do, I kinda just wandered around a bit. Sometimes it can get a bit difficult to know what to do since the game is a sandbox, but there's a lot of freedom in the game. The sex system is great and the mechanics are enjoyable (for me at least). Give this game a shot : )

    Oir

Played this game close to when it came out. Absolutely ahead of its time.

Action combat is above average(but hell, action combat at all in an RPGM/Wolf RPG game is already pretty magical) and this game sets the standard for what standing image H-combat should be.

The art is very well done, clothing customization is diverse and has depth (although it's all cosmetic) and...you know...actually changes the way the character looks.

The maps are well laid out, the sprites are great and NUMEROUS, and the H-events hidden throughout the different locations are sexy and well done.

Truly waiting for something to top this game in terms of pure mechanics and execution of H-game mechanics and combat. You'd be doing a disservice to yourself to not play this game as a tentacle/rape lover.

This is one of the best games on this site, or at least all the way up there for this genre of games.
There has already been tons of reviews giving this game justice, so I'll just say this, play this game already if you haven't and have fun ;)

I really wanted to enjoy Wings of Roldea because it has all the foundations of a good game. But sadly, the execution let it down. The gameplay felt repetitive, the H-Scenes were overly censored and the story was poorly explained either because of the translation not faithfully representing the work or because it was never a good story in the first place.

The game puts you in the shoes of a girl who is magically transported to unknown lands after thieves overrun her adopted kingdom. I found the gameplay to be novel and quite engaging at first. This isn't your classic RPG with classic RPG mechanics; the battles are more real-time instead of turn based and there's a fair bit of tactical acumen required to know where your magic spell will hit for it to be effective. You can mix and match your attacks, alternating melee and magic which was, at least in the beginning, AoE. I found it refreshing after playing a few humdrum RPGM games. The map opens up slowly as you explore new areas; filling up with newer dungeons and places you can visit - another nice mechanic. However, the gameplay completely falls apart for me because of the dungeons. They are randomly generated with random entry and exit points. Often, I found myself walking through the same-y dungeon space for a minute before hitting a dead end and having to trek back through the desolate, being bored to tears, trying to find the exit. The dungeons were not fun at all. They all looked the same, they were always randomly generated and I found the mechanic incredibly tiresome. Often, you could find the exit immediately, and sometimes you found yourself trekking for minutes.

The clothing mechanic is the big draw in this game. You literally have dozens of different clothing items to choose from and the combinations must be staggeringly large. This is a nice draw initially as you can customize your character but it doesn't add much. The outfits do not confer any stats upon you. The only change I could see was a few different H-Scenes where your clothing doesn't rip, or does in different ways. So I suppose that's interesting. The foundation, once again, is there. It could be polished and made into something great but it just seems like a nice-to-have rather than the fundamental of a good game.

Which leads me to the labyrinthine story. The protagonist is taciturn to the point of muteness. She deals with everything with infuriating stoicism. Whatever happens, she will have virtually nothing to say. It doesn't make for a compelling tale. Which is a shame, because I can see that there are a number of side quests (important ones all of them, that have a great bearing on the story) but the protagonist is such an expressionless bore. The dialogue is limited to short, brusque sentences and the story never flows.

Lastly, the most important thing in an H-Game is the actual H. How does it fit into the wider narrative of the game and whether the artstyle is appealing or not. Obviously, mileage may vary on the artstyle so I don't have a lot to say on that except that I would have preferred a screen-filling CG rather than a barely animated slideshow going on the right side of my screen. Some snippets in the scenes are sometimes overly censored to the point of me not understanding what is even going on which is a poor return for an H-Game. It's also almost only Defeat based which didn't particularly tickle my fancy. But I suppose there is a lot of it so you can help yourself. The great thing here is that there is no Game Over if you do get boinked. You just pass out and carry on with your day once you wake up.

In short, the game always threatened to turn into something amazing but a lack of polish in every department led me to feel disappointed. There were a couple of novel features which did hold my attention for a little while before something or another detracted from the experience. There is no one department where this game stands out. It has the foundations to be brilliant, however. Worth a shot.

I love this game, probably the best H RPG I've played yet. The art is fantastic, the main character is cute and well voice acted, and you can even customize her clothing and appearance as well. There are a lot of content present here too. You could be playing for hours and still discover new contents like new monsters or new capture sequence. The gameplay is simple, but very well done. The difficulty is pitch perfect; fighting one dude might be cake, but get overconfidence and you'd easily get iced by them. It's a bit obtuse though. If you missed a plot important dialogue, you might get stuck wondering what to do, but there's no pressure to chase after the story quests either. For the first few hours of discovering the game, you'd get by pretty well on your own, but when you want to unlock all the scenes, then it's time to bust open a walkthrough.
    Absolutely recommended.

    Rastafoo

Wings of Roldea is a beautiful game with great music and tons of content to explore. The voice acting is good and the world is enormous. Bigger isn't always better, but still there is fun to be had.

The weak points are the hentai and the story. The hentai gets repetitive fast even though its spaced out and hard to find. The story is badly paced and badly explained, making for a lackluster experience.

Other reviewers have said similar things yet still gave it 5 stars and I don't know why. This game is average at best. Lots of dungeons does not make a game fun!

    Ethereal Fox

    >>Pros:
-Over 100 changeable clothings parts that you can mix and match obtainable through the numerous stores in cities

-An actual story with 6 possible endings and a new game+ (Keep your equipment, level, stats)

-You don't get a game overed if you get raped by monsters.

-X-ray of all the sex scenes if you are into that

    -Seamless and numerous sex scenes

    >>Cons:

-No wiki where you can get info about certain quests although there's a half completed nippon walkthrough (link below) and some obscure forums

-Nippon game so game is fucking censored and no autistic modder have done a patch for it yet

one of best wolf rpg i ever tried in my life, you can see a real effort that was put into creating this game. it has many details and the history can change with every action or event that happens or that you make happen (you know what i mean) so actually, it means that every aspect of your history affects the whole game

    NeoGenesis

One of the best games that I have played.

In terms of gameplay its an open world free roam with an ARPG combat system and randomly generated spawn and exit points. This is great as you can re-visit almost all the locations and dungeons of the game at your leisure with only 1 or 2 exemptions that are tied to specific parts of the story. The dungeons are also pretty neat as everytime you visit the same dungeon your initial spawn location as well as the location needed to advance the dungeon change.

There are also some side quests and jobs that you will be able to constantly do like stealing, monster hunting, prostitution, and etc.

You can also fully customize the cute main character with a lot of different clothes and accessory options available, while also being able to customize the color of her clothes and accessories as well as her hair and skin color.

The story is also pretty good with the characters being likeable while the storyline branches out, having multiple paths and endings.

As for the scene content of the game that is where it shines the most, there are a lot of smoothly executed animations which happen during and after battle that have a wide variety of positions per opponent/event while also having a couple of extremely well drawn CGs that are tied to the story

After the latest update this game offers even more content such as added events and scene animations including pregnancy.

The only drawback of the game is that you may get confused in some paths of the story without a walkthrough.

Overall this is an amazing game that definitely deserves a sequel.

This game is great for a number of reasons. The top tier nsfw parts aside (clothing getting destroyed, so much choice of individual pieces of clothing to wear), this game also has a very decent storyline. As a matter of fact, it has multiple storylines and multiple endings. The only downside is that the paths are not very clear. The combat is pretty fun and sometimes even challenging.

    a review -

Really enjoyed this one. Completed twice.
Mostly corruption defeat-rape, mildly animated but well done. Doesn't ruin the gameplay or boot you to menu like some other games. Actually allows you some gameplay options during rapes. H-ing your way through a dungeon may sometimes be the only way through.
Waifu customisation and unlocks is great.
Prostitution and BDSM exist but are a small part. Surprisingly
there was no romance options at all. MC has a distinctly reserved persona which makes her a nice change from the norm.

Gameplay felt like an old action roguelike and was fun at times. Procedurally generated dungeons are cool but were very basic and felt samey due the algorithm used.

Multiple story 'endings', which actually are not exclusive from each other, and allow you to keep playing to complete other endings. Main arc ends in 'to be continued', open for sequel.

    Incredible.

    ART:
As other reviewers have pointed out, the main character - the most important aspect of the art design - is absolutely beautiful, and not necessarily in a slutty way, which makes the corruption aspect that much more appealing. She has a modest look by default and always retains a very calm and subdued air about her, especially with that soft and mild voice. I just want to hug her and keep her safe and stroke her hair and kiss her forehead and then push her into a mating press to fuck her so hard that she can't even think properly by the time I start pumping my seed into her womb. She's cute.
The sex scenes are decently well animated for these kinds of games, and with a great variety of positions for each type of partner/assailant. In fact I figured I'd put the game on and have my super-slutty version of her get fucked as background noise while writing this, but it was too distracting and I just had to cum again and turn it off. I'm very satisfied, and I haven't even discovered all the enemies yet.

    GAMEPLAY:
This game uses a real-time combat system with some RPG elements. There is unfortunately level grinding involved, but if you're doing a good amount of side content you might not notice it.
The most annoying thing about gameplay is that it's really difficult to control and train up your magic spells. You can use money to upgrade your sword or the various spells individually, but most spells have a really hard to control hitzone, and it seems to take much longer to advance your Magic skill.
Also the random dungeon/wilderness generation is bland, samey and tedious to work through. Really there should've just been pre-made dungeons and wilderness instead.
However, this game does something that I wish was more common in XXX action games, in that the character getting fucked serves as an alternative to a Game Over screen, not just the thing that happens when you get a Game Over. When you reach 0 HP, enemies can knock you down. The first time this happens, you can resist by mashing the attack button. If you fail to resist, you get fucked. When the enemy is done fucking you, it might disappear, giving you the chance to get up and keep fighting or it might fuck you again. When you're surrounded by enemies they tend to just stay around and fuck you until you pass out. You pass out if your "Fatigue" reaches 0 and you'll wake up in a church or guild or something.
This means you can watch our lovely heroine get molested quite a lot without worrying about having to reload an earlier save and pretend it didn't happen. She actually gets up eventually and lives with the aftermath of what happened, most likely making her more lewd.

    STORY:
Eh, it's okay I guess. It's not particularly interesting but nothing about it turned me off entirely. There is a lot of it, and not all of it is sexy, and there are multiple endings you can get. It seemed to me the most obvious ending to get was one of the least satisfying, but then the game spat me back out to the world map like it never happened and I found out that there are like 20 questlines, and the ending I saw wasn't canon.
So yeah, if you wanted to play that game with the guy who shouts at dragons, but with porn... get that game on PC and look up the adult mods that actually exist. But that's a lot of hassle and technical jiggery-pokery, so you should probably play this game instead.
One thing I would've liked to see now that I think about it, is some kind of incentive to protect the girl's virginity, maybe even an option to have an innocent romance with a major NPC where each new event changes based on Alma's virginity or lack thereof. Yes I want this, she really is too sweet to only have corruption or abstinence as an option. I mean maybe that exists, idk I haven't done everything yet, but I'm hearing that there is no effect whatsoever concerning whether or not she's a virgin, aside from getting to see her hymen broken in the first time her pussy is penetrated.

I have a folder full of games on this site, which I've sorted into several sub-folders for ones I do and don't like and for what reasons. Out of those probably over a hundred, this one is among my indisputable favorites. Absolutely I recommend it ,10/10 fap of the year, would self-abuse again.

The first thing that grabs your attention is our lovely main character and the overall art style used. The screenshots shows multiple costumes which draws me in right from the start. But is the game fun? I'm hoping this review will give you a general idea about the type of game this is and if its for you.

As per review rules, I can't name other games to compare what this is like so I"ll describe it as best as I can. Wings Of Roldea is an action rpg with a focus on hit and run battle tactics and magic spells consisting of close and long range attacks. Control our lovely protagonist, Alma, and fight though hordes of perverted enemies, both humans and creatures, while avoiding traps and being surrounded by enemies and then raped.

The dungeons/stages are set up like a simple maze with a few dead ends, nothing complicated, very simple. The difficulty lies in avoiding being damaged, groped, or gew thrown all over you while avoiding traps. To advance, just find the teleporter to proceed to the next area. But be careful, Alma will get tired, hungry, and will need to use the ladies room often.

The story is pretty good. I won't go into detail but the game often uses bubble chat for the characters. There is a story for a couple main characters you may run into and you have to explore and talk to everyone to trigger their events. The English translation is not machine generated. There are a good amount of mistakes but nothing too heart breaking.

Another good aspect of this game is the amount of content. I'd say if you play this often, you will find that it lasts for a good number of days.

Now... there are a few cons I wish to mention. Its difficult to figure out what to do without a guide. A quest tab with directions would be helpful for this game. The music is dull/boring and for those long dungeons, it can be painful at times. Also if you keep triggering event after event on may different characters, the story becomes hard to follow. For full enjoyment, please read the walkthough.

The game also has a focus on protecting your virginity. They do have virgin protection magic and you can even pay gold to upgrade it further. However, your virginity has 0 inpact on the game. It doesn't change the story, it doesn't effect anything whatso ever. You can lose it, or keep it and nothing changes. I find this rather disappointing.

There is no after game content. You can restart with your stats in tact in case you missed a few H scenes but thats about it. Note that the game has different endings but it can't really be called endings. Its more like just a completion of a story arc for a side character. There are 6 endings but only 1 true ending.

overall, for an H game, I will rate it fairly high among the others. This deserves some praise.
