Input the Konami Code in the main menu, activated "Monkey Mode". I am concerned with what I will find.

just saw this. nice find. haven't really noticed any difference except for what's already said on the description (+10 revives and 1% hp)

This setup seems to be the fastest way to clear stages on Master in under 10 minutes, if you have a controller:

  • Perfect Plan for 3 Upgrades (Start with 2x Charge Cannon and Exp), alongside 40% Exp. You could do 3x Exp, but that seems to be harder to do due to RNG.
  • Specialist for that 1.4x boost on stats. You don't need the 2 extra gears because that exhausts 12 excessive Mod slots. You would do less damage with 4 weapons.
  • MAX Exp ASAP. You won't get upgraded Cannon and Shield until later (around Level 15+ or after 2 minutes?).
  • Upgrade as many offensive stats possible, as well as movement speed. Ignore any Defense, HP, gold, and revive stats.
  • For Charge Cannon, try to get Ammo and Super Ammo, as well as 3x Mini Mines.
  • For Energy Shield, Eliminator, Duration, and Super Duration are key.
  • If you can't get Mini-Mines nor Ammo, Tracking Missiles x3, Chain x3, and Super Size x3 might work. You might have to exchange mods with regular stat increases to save money.
If you managed to get 3x Mini Mines + 3x Ammo or Super Ammo, you can slaughter the entire field. Destroy the pre-circle targets and get to the main circle spots ASAP. You will need to spin the joystick in circles slowly to ensure none of the enemies touch you while getting that 80% boosts. Once the boss comes up, that setup should defeat bosses in less than a second.

I did try Black Hole. While much safer to use than Charge Cannon because you don't need to do manual aiming, some Elites and Bosses could resist or shield Black Hole on certain times, making you rely on secondary effects like Mines.

I use the big ass beam which seems to not be the best option. A lot of this just makes me miss features from vs-like games. Like weapon fusion, that black hole upgrade for the electric generator weapon would be a combo in any others I've played.

The beam is great for map with massive amount of mobs but the dps is low, ppl mostly use shield for invincible frame it gives. Also there is alot of ability increase x% stat by how many annihilator u gained.
For me i used perk give u 2 extra anni, and on each support weapon u can use x3 recharge for extra 2 more anni count.
With that setup u can basicly get 120~240% att spd, dmg, crit dmg just from 1 ability u pick.

At higher levels, the shield is the best Annihilator. The need to protect yourself from damage is far too valuable. Additionally, the shield minimizes the use of collecting defensive power-ups in exchange for offensive powerups.

The beam only works IF you are lucky to get the upgrade that removes projectiles. Even so, weapons like Black Hole and Charge Cannon will be doing more damage over time, making the Beam a weapon that clears out the weaker enemies.

may not be optimal but, without having unlocked everything yet, this seems pretty good enough for me, removing 25% hp off everything seems pretty nice imo, works on bosses and elites
