Master Guide:
This is a specific guide based on my experience. You may be able to find a better configuration, but as I've beaten all girls on master difficulty with no deaths (came close once though), I feel qualified.
Everything I mentioned in the previous guide still applies, save one correction. Even though generally super mods tend to nerf too much, the projectile one is the only one I consider worth it (for charge shot at least).
Initial setup: Charge shot, shield annihilator, Foresight, Annihilator +2 charge boost talent
Final weapons: Charge shot, Ammo bazooka, Locust Wasps, Durable (the immunity adding one) Shields
Upgrade priority passives: Annihilator damage upgrades (speed, crit dmg, dmg) -> +1 Annihilator capacity -> Upgrades for weapons besides shield (target charge shot early on, then bazooka) -> Either shield upgrades or (boss/elite) (damage/shot speed) boosts -> Get the other one you didn't get -> 30% energy retained on Annihilator use -> Crit rate or Shot speed or Defensive annihilator bonuses or Revives -> Damage bonus
Upgrade priority mods in order of importance:
Ammo Bazooka [3x shot speed (IMPORTANT, adds greatly to fire rate AND damage), projectile bouncing, at least one penetration mod (knockback, projectile speed, or shot type bonus greatly preferred), 1-2x of your choice, aim for circular or cone shot type]
Charge Shot [3x shot speed (When finished with bazooka), super projectile or 3x regular projectile or at least one projectile bonus from other mods), 0 - 3x of your choice, aim for straight or cone shot type]
Locust Wasps [Low priority, whatever you want]
Durable Shield [Extremely low priority, duration?]
There are essentially five enemy types: normal, tough, super, elite, boss
Normal: Trash
Tough: Slightly tougher/faster trash
Super: Actually dangerous, wide variety, don't underestimate them (be ready to MOVE and DASH as needed)
Elite: Big boys, will typically be what kills you. In most cases you will need to MOVE and DASH a LOT.
Boss: Do I really need to say?
If you die, its usually because you are standing your ground (such as on a fortress) when you need to MOVE and DASH.
Speaking of fortresses, I always complete the fortresses before 18:00 minutes, but don't feel pressured to stay on them no matter what, you have enough time. Focus on surviving the supers or elites coming after you then worry about the fortresses. Remember the fortresses will auto collect all drops, so don't spend a lot of time running around collecting stuff once you can start on the fortresses.
