This game, Winter Memories (WM), is pretty easy to review - whatever you rated Summer Memories (SM, the original), you'll give this the same rating. It uses all of the same characters from the first game, but there are some new mechanics, new story, and other additions/changes that really make this a perfect sequel to SM. I'm worried you'll interpret this as "WM is just straight up better than SM". That is not what I'm saying; I'm saying it's a perfect sequel. It keeps the core that made the game what it was, but tweaks certain elements and adds others that make it feel like a different game. Not a better game, not a worse game either - just a damn good sequel.

Don't think too much about it, I've probably written too much as it is - go play Summer Memories (literally doing yourself a disservice if you don't start with that game). Whatever rating you would give to that game as the original, you will give the same rating to this game as its sequel (for similar but different reasons).

Sometimes, a good sequel is just more of the previous game, with changed or altered mechanics and a different plot.

Winter Memories is that kind of sequel.

The H-Scenes are largely the same, with a few added nice details. The events have new CGs, obviously, and with all of the girls the progression of their story and availability of their H-Scenes have become largely the same (do this thing, talk to her or wait until this time), with sex being available from the beginning for the main trio and being open pretty early for everyone else. It's a direct sequel to the first game, and there's no "did you did you not" when it comes to whether you did everything in Summer Memories. The game treats it as if you 100%'d the game previously, albeit without any of your skills, items, money, or stat limits.

Overall, it's a charming game with a couple neat stories and some nice variety as it delivers (mostly) age difference hentai.

Similar to how I felt about summer memories, game is just pretty damn good. Overall a very healthy amount of scenes, and this time around all of the "side" characters get all of their own proper progression and scenes.
It truly is just Summer Memories 2, largely just improved in areas, with the same general idea.

I'm not a fan of shota MCs, but I'm willing to look the other way for what is overall just a fantatic game.

On it's own it's a pretty great game but as a sequel it's just kinda more of the same, there's not really a whole lot that feels new.

I think the story and characters are a lot more fun this time around but the sex content is...just the same, which makes it feel kinda vanilla. It would be nice if the girls could actually interact with each other, I don't even get the point in the group sex mechanic since you just screw one while the others stand around, it's kinda boring. It would be great if they'd eat each other out and there were scenes where you could catch them having fun with each other instead of it being entirely one on one action.
Maybe they'll do something like that with DLC, being able to get a strap on so they can help you DP someone would be hot.

So yeah there's nothing bad about the game exactly but it's not much different from the first one. I found the minigames a bit more fun to actually play this time but even if you don't like them you can unlock a skill to just instantly win, the achievement stuff is probably one of the best additions and I definitely hope it sticks around.

It's solid. It knows what it is, and that's something relatively simply and cutesy - and that's fine. It's an extension of Summer Memories in everyway, so if you missed on that then, well, you won't be happy here. That does mean it plays out extremely similarly, though, and while things are refreshed they're definitely all familiar. There's a couple of new side-characters to interact with.

The main change, though, is that it (obviously) takes place after Summer Memories... 's harem route. The first day you bang the trio, setting the mood. The returning side characters all got railed to bits, although you have to (quickly) unlock hooking up with them again. It sets a very different mood; the main trio are all in on it, flirting and teasing openly, the side characters mock you for being a sexual hellion (before taking you home) and etc. And it's good; it's not a retread, it's a continuation.

It's not a high in depth title, but it's also like ten bucks with production values out the wazoo. You get what you would allegedly pay for, you pirate.

Actual content of the game it is pretty underwhelming and overrated if you have played the prequel or tried the beta version released in early 2023.

As expected the game has even more grind than the prequel with the number of days are now halved because it's winter? There are very few "new" H-Scene related mechanics and more mini-games. If multiple character and event tracking wasn't enough now there is dynamic time, too much map/room roaming for quests and more pointless achievements

When the prequel came out it was new to see isometric style, free roaming with decent graphics and plot h-game but in 2023 that low-res and small window size just don't cut it anymore. Pixel-art can be high-res although it's now mixed. Animations and rooms are low-res pixel art yet cut scenes are not.

Low effort really shows when you play h-scenes for almost all sub-heroins are just same assets reused or slightly tweaked. Some of the scenes are not even original in the sense very common angle and position in hentai and other h-games.

There is nothing to spoil really, 3 main characters and 6 old sub-heroins with same old behavior/quests and 2 new sub-heroins with most cliche japanese porn plot.

Winter Memories is inferior squeal and an overrated title with weak plot, meh graphics and animations, bad gameplay/h-scene mechanics.

Don't get fooled by the size of 1.6GB(Original Version), ~700mb+ of them are just uncompressed audio files.

This game does an EXCELLENT job as the sequel to what in my opinion was one of the best games in this genre. There's so much to explore and do in this version and the animations that go together with the H-scenes are an amazing touch that just make them so much more enjoyable.
Going into this game I was a little worried that the sex scenes wouldn't feel the same without the corruption aspect since you've already had sex with all of them in this game, but the game does an amazing job of making the scenes interesting even more so than the first game in my opinion. I really enjoyed the netori aspect with the aunt and uncle and how in certain scenes he could watch and discover what you've been doing around the house while he was working.
The environment in this game just feels a lot more immersive with you being able to discover things and try to discover everything it has to offer.
My favorite additions come in the form of more mini-games, the achievement system, and the new UI. It just makes the game feel much more fun and rewarding and being able to do special things after completing achievements is EXTREMELY fun.
All in all and amazing sequel from an amazing creator. This has become one of my favorite games.

Summer Memories was my favorite H game and sequel seems even better! This is fairly one of best tease games out there as long as you get yourself into the story and setting. This is not a game that you want rush skipping dialogues and going for H scenes, you want to play slow feeling characters and trying to not get horny while game throws H content at you from left to right.

Audio and visuals are amazing, for anyone who likes pixel graphics/animations there isnt really many good games which makes this one a gem. New camera is great addition. Story seems fine (so far few hours in).

tons of variety in protagonist and good gameplay. Many events to unlock and scenes are well done. Nothing feels too excessive or grindy. A+ game. The game developer took improvements from the previous game to heart and applied them to this banger of a sequel.

Extremely overrated game imo same as Summer Memories (prequel).

It is a cute little game typical japanese style, which is not much to my liking, therefore my rating which is obviously very subjective, since it looks like many people are into these games.

Gonna start with positives. Girls are cute as always, nice art but nothing too special. Minigames are always fun for me, but I could understand why some people might not like them. Sprite animations look kinda funny to me, but they are well done in their own way. Moaning sounds are always plus and I personaly find japanese women moaning hot if not overdone.

Time for negatives. Story is obviously extremely sweet like in all of these games, type of rubbing honey around your mouth with a finger till your teeth fall off and then stick it up to your ass type of sweet. The worst part of this game is that little whimp MC, who looks like 9 years old and all he wants to do is to jump everything what he sees like a tiny monkey on cocaine. All the girls are into him of course with little to no effort right from the prequel.

You can have bit of fun for few hours playing this game, but don’t expect anything ground-breaking.

Loved Summer Memories, this is somehow even better than Summer Memories by a mile... there's new systems, new mechanics, new minigames, and 2 new characters. There's also been a huge improvement in the begging mechanic (Which is the mc basically asking the heroines to show him their ass kind of like trainer games on this site but implemented much better) and the new Menkai storyline which is very underrated imo, I really enjoyed the one from Summer Memories and here it's better. Easily a 11/10 game. Doujin Otome is absolute God Status when it comes to H games.

The Citizen Kane of H-Games. Plenty of content, girls you actually get to know and create bonds with, good slice-of-life gameplay and sandbox content. Every single girl has an ending, and there's a full family harem ending that's an absolute 10/10. Well worth the wait.

I am not joking when I say that this is better than the prequel, and there are (in my honest opinion) many points that are way better executed in my eyes which is really great to see as keeping standards of summer memories alone would be hard enough, exceeding it would literally need a masterpiece which is this game!

Gameplay: 5/5
+more fluidity in the world than the prequel. Every heroine has their own routine which they follow, and you can fuck them in any activity they might be in (excluding if there are people or ur uncle nearby, don't want to get too cocky)
+mini games went from being a tedious grind to being a cool side activity which gives you rewards, you will also unlock a skill later on which lets you choose whether you want to skip them or not (and some are really nicely executed an fun)
+more variety in sex positions aswell as a camera to photoshoot basically everything the game has to offer
...honestly I could write much more here but this is honestly already enough to set the standards in gameplay, since I played this not only for the porn but also for the game which happens rarely nowadays

H-Scenes: 10/5
+You engage with the heroines in all kinds of perverted activites, mainly involving you being an uncontrollable horny ape which they have to deal with
+There are dot animations (basically in a sandboxy manner, they also have a cut in window of a close up of the sex scenes which is REALLY good) aswell as CG's (can be found upon advancing the story for the girl) and standing animations (u can ask the girl to show her ass/tits and play around with her) which leaves really little to the imagination, everything here is perfectly executed imo
+There's quite a variety of positions, but the sex mostly involves in u doing really perverted stuff to ur girls. Examples of more specific kinks would be netori for the aunt (you even get to see some uncle perspectives which is really cool), filming kink for the shop owner (she has a social media account where she posts nudes and pictures of you fucking her) etc.

Sound and Voice: 5/5
+All the girls have simple voice samples of moans and laughter which adds to the athmosphere (similar to last game) and they are again executed really well
+Sex sounds are also an important part of such a game and there's honestly nothing much to say apart from they fit quite well into the scene, but nothing too outstanding

Story: 5/5
+You don't see a good story that often in such H-games, the premise of the story itself is nothing too outstanding (again going to your aunts house and essentially fucking the shit out of every girl which walks your way) but what I find truly impressive is the connection of this games story and summer memories, which makes the world feel like you never actually left (even if you have to remind the girls that you fucked the everliving shit out of them lol). This for me shows that he thought about how to execute the story without either a complete mental reset and act like nothing ever happened and just blatantly going at it with everyone from day one (well technically with the aunts and cousins but not with the others)

what a long review... and I didn't even say everything. Either way, I really recommend buying this game, the MTL is quite good (as it is often in case of the ChatGPT translations) so it's definitely playable.
